10 YEARS and 386 weddings since my first paid gig - Debbie & David, 19th July 2014. What a ride it's been!!! I'd filmed a few weddings for free before that, ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, so gave up a safe retail management job at a place I'd worked at for 12 years, to pursue a completely new and very unsure way of self employed life, and with just 3 weddings booked in 😬 Luckily it turned out to be THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD and I still can't believe I get to do this for a living! It's such a privilege to be invited to share and capture your special day. I still get so nervous on the way to every wedding, because I want to do my best for you and your film - it's your memories! Yes I do have to spend countless hours sitting in a dark room editing most days until the early morning. But being at your wedding, watching you say your vows, makes it all worthwhile. I've not put a wedding on for a while have i?! Well here is a little teaser from Amy & Kristian's big day on 20th May, AND THERE WAS A DELOREAN!! Amy surprised Kristian with his absolutely awesome lift to the church, and then we all headed over to Stourport Manor Hotel for their reception and their stunning First Dance outside. IT'S BEEN A WHILE!! Sorry for the lack of posts recently apart from bombarding you with ones for our competition (winner will be announced this evening!). It's been the busiest few months with lots of awesome Weddings, and I have 4 more this week before a quieter July to catch my breath! Here is Claire & Kevin's "Tiny Teaser"! filmed at Stanbrook Abbey Hotel on 26th August 2018. Not sure if Claire knows how emotional Kev was before she walked down the aisle but it's all on film and was great to see the love! It rained all morning but the sun broke through for the evening letting everyone enjoy the stunning grounds around the Abbey. As always, it was good to work alongside Adam at Lateral Focus again! Kate & Dan - Wedding Video "Insta Teaser" Film - Wootton Park 12th August 2018 - Midlands Wedding Videographer

It's been a few weeks, but here is Kate & Dan's Teaser filmed at the STUNNING Wootton Park Park on 12th August 2018. We literally just managed the outdoor ceremony before the rain fell, but once that had cleared it turned out to be a really great afternoon. Had the pleasure to once again work alongside the awesome Katie @Still Light Photography and eventhough Dan proclaimed he was "the worst groom ever" for not wanting photos, Katie managed to get some nice couple shots for us before he wanted a beer! SURPRISE SECRET WEDDING! Victoria & TJ - Stanwick Hotel, Northampton - Wedding Video Teaser Film - 20th July 2018

Here is the "Tiny Teaser" for Victoria & TJ's SURPRISE WEDDING!! Everytime I watch the reaction shot I see a different person realise what's going on, it was so amazing to be a part of this truely epic reveal. Filmed on 20th July at St Peter's in Rushdon & The Stanwick Hotel Northampton, guests were told that they were attending a Christening! I had to sneakily film some shots of guests arriving without giving the game away that something more was going on. I'll be honest, I was rather anxious about it all but it went off perfectly, (I may have even shed a tear too). Working alongside my good friends Nicholas Rogers Photography again, what an awesome day & what an awesome job I have! Thank's for having me guys, & congratulations! - David :-)
