10 YEARS and 386 weddings since my first paid gig - Debbie & David, 19th July 2014. What a ride it's been!!! I'd filmed a few weddings for free before that, ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, so gave up a safe retail management job at a place I'd worked at for 12 years, to pursue a completely new and very unsure way of self employed life, and with just 3 weddings booked in 😬 Luckily it turned out to be THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD and I still can't believe I get to do this for a living! It's such a privilege to be invited to share and capture your special day. I still get so nervous on the way to every wedding, because I want to do my best for you and your film - it's your memories! Yes I do have to spend countless hours sitting in a dark room editing most days until the early morning. But being at your wedding, watching you say your vows, makes it all worthwhile.
