Here are our top tips for newly engaged brides:

- Establish your wedding budget as soon as possible. Too many brides are coming through with no idea on budget then deciding too late after they have fallen in love with the dress that it is over budget and this always ends in disappointment!

3. Create a Wedding Timeline
- Plan ahead by creating a timeline for your wedding. This will help you prioritize tasks like finding your venue, booking vendors, and ordering your wedding dress, so nothing slips through the cracks.

4. Start With the Venue
- Book your venue as soon as possible—it’s one of the most important decisions. The venue will set the tone for your entire day.

A bridal appointment is more than just finding the perfect dress—it’s about memories, emotions, and those little magical moments you’ll treasure forever. 📸 Feel free to snap photos during your appointment to relive the experience, share the joy with loved ones.

💡 Pro Tips:
1, Pick ONE person to me designated photographer during your appointment too many photos can be too much! Plus you want people present and in the moment giving you opinions.
2, Only take pictures of the dresses you LOVE. If you don’t love it when you are in it then liking a picture won’t matter! Likewise as you go through the dresses if you start to rule ones out delete the pictures! Trust your gut in the moment!
3, If you don’t say “yes” on the day then we recommend not looking at any images until the day after! This will allow you time to visualise and imagine your true feelings towards a particular dress! A lot of the time it is more about how you FEEL than how you look. Leaving this time before looking at pictures will help with this.
4, If you do say “yes” make sure your photos capture the details—those delicate lace patterns, stunning beadwork, and the glow on your face as you find the one!

CUSTOMISATION

Something we have been asked in the past is why if we help you customise your wedding dress do we NOT do made to measure?

This is a great question and has a simple answer. Cost! Each of our designs once created has a pattern cut in each size on our size chart. If we were to re-cut each pattern for every dress ordered to create a made to measure gown the prices of our dresses would have to go up by quite a lot. The other reason is that as women our body size fluctuates so being able to order a rough size and have tweaks closer to your wedding date is much more flexible. This is also the same for the length of each dress we allow you more time to choose your wedding shoes so that you can alter the length of your gown closer to the date.
