IMPORTANT 🫶🤍
Check your inboxes, it’s with a heavy heart I’ve decided to end my Moo journey. Tobie has been poorly the last couple of weeks and it has made me realise I cannot juggle both and my little bubba will always be priority. As I do a lot of solo parenting with my partner working away lots I can’t commit fully to the classes and that’s not fair on your little Moo’ers. I will be advertising the sale of the business if anyone is wanting to take on a new venture. (if so send me a private message) I hope you all understand, I wish circumstances were different. It’s been so so lovely meeting you all and I wish you all the best!

Giraffes can’t dance 🦒

As we are celebrating all things unique in September, this is the perfect book to celebrate being unique and showing our children that no matter what is perceived to be something we can’t do, you can always do what you put your mind to!

Gerald is a lovely giraffe that struggles when it comes to dancing, he is mocked and told by his other jungle friends that he can’t dance. Gerald proved them all wrong after finding his own unique style of dance, he was the giraffe that CAN and WILL dance. An important story of acceptance. Everyone is wonderful in their own little ways and the world should be acceptant of everyone for who they are.

Autumn term story spotlight ⭐️

Book one- Leo and the Octopus 🐙

This term is focused on celebrating all of our differences. This lovely little book is about a little boy who finds the world quite a lonely, stressful place to live in. He visits an aquarium and becomes very fond of Maya the Octopus. They become best friends. The octopus dosent like loud noises or big crowds just like Leo! The little boy has Asperger’s syndrome and sees the world slightly differently to other children but finds so much comfort in his octopus friend.

This book is brilliant to help children understand that not everyone is the same and people may react or like/dislike different things. A perfect story of empathy, difference and inclusion. This is one of the many books chosen this term to celebrate difference as we are all UNIQUE ⭐️✨🐙

The sessions will begin with a few of the Moo classics including some speak and sign, lots of bubbles and certainly lots of fun 🫧 we will then read this lovely story and theme the remainder of the session around the story. Ending with our musical instruments of course! What a better way to blow off some steam. I hope to see you all there 🤍

Autumn Term
I AM UNIQUE

In September our term celebrates all things unique. Each term we have a different topic focusing on different affirmations we’d like our children to grow up believing. I think self love and celebrating ourselves and most importantly our differences is so so important. If we were all the same what kind of life would that be?

Each week we have a different book with the class themed around that particular book. Every session will start and end the same to keep repetition for the children we will also read the book to the children!

No matter how small your children are, a story is perfect to spark those little imaginations and give the children the language the will need when they are bigger! 📚

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances I’m having to postpone my classes until September. I am absolutely devastated and want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for attending my classes.

I have a session tomorrow and Friday and the Easter special will be my last session until September! The Easter special is 27th March 2-3pm at Fielden Hall. I can’t apologise enough, this is not what I intended to happen. Hopefully I will see some of you back in September.

Thank you for all of your custom and for making my Moo mornings so enjoyable!

Another lovely Tuesday morning with these super babies 🦸 the book this week was Supertatoe as he is super kind and helps all of his veggies.

We had music, bubbles, instruments, speak and sign and we explored different textures this week. The sensory foil was a hit. Followed by lots of fun with the toys and the soft play and a brew and biscuits for mum’s and dads🧸 ☕️🍪

It has been so so lovely meeting you all this week. The trial classes have been hit and miss with some areas more popular than others! Therefore I have decided to run sessions for the rest of the term at my two most popular venues.

Next term I’m hoping to add a few more venues into the mix but for the time being especially with me having a little MOOborn of my own I want to run the sessions in the areas with most interest.

Hi everyone! Just a quick (lengthy) post about me, I’ll get it out of the way haha! I currently live in Littleborough. I have a background in Musical Theatre, I studied for three years at degree level. I have worked two seasons abroad in Tenerife and Portugal as a children’s entertainer. Following on from this I have worked at three different holiday parks across the UK as a children’s entertainer and vocalist. One being Withernsea Sands, where I met my lovely partner who kindly funded this opportunity for me! He calls himself a dragon and even made me do a pitch 🤣 I worked at a lovely little nursery in Withernsea and then went on to work in Finland Lapland as an elf, I now have a little elf of my own! We moved areas to be closer to my family, I currently work at The Ark Littleborough and love working with children. I work with children aged 2-3 at nursery. I have had experience with SEN children in both settings and will be catering sessions to fit the needs of these children also, for those who feel uncomfortable in a group setting I will look into running MooSEN in the near future. This will cater to those who are non verbal and will focus more speak and sign to encourage that communication via sign and hopefully help build their confidence. I have recently been diagnosed with ADHD and this has been the BEST thing to have ever happened, I feel I can embrace myself now without masking and feel I am starting to understand myself more and more each day and learning to manage it (slowly, I still impulsively buy lots of things online! Now I have an excuse haha) I would love children to feel acceptant of who they are and embrace themself through music and Moo is perfect for this! I am a bit of a crazy lady, I also bake cakes. Some of you may know I own Cakeswithkatieb. I love getting messy! And being creative so I will be doing some messy moo classes and sometimes will try and cater these classes into exploring all things baking 🧁 dependent on venue.
