We’re really excited to announce our first Spring & Summer monthly residency down at Stod Fold Dean Clough in Halifax.

Starting in March & running until the end of August we’ll be smashing out some of best Mexican street food in Halifax. Freshly made tacos with spicy, vibrant salsas using fresh local ingredients along with some monthly specials.

We’ll be dropping the exact dates within the next week!!! Thank you for your support and we look forward to a very exciting 2025!!

As we hit 2025, I’d just like to give a massive shout out to all our customers for their support since I started Padres back in April. Who would have thought that I’d have my own kitchen pop-up business…it’s mad, but I’m so glad I took the huge step in doing it.

To everyone who came to one of my pop-up events across 2024, thank you! It’s means the world to me.

Thanks to everyone who I dragged in to help me on any of the evenings.

A big shout out to some of my suppliers & local producers. Gardens Farm Ltd - Doorstep Deliveries & Family Butchers & Fairweathers Butchers and Deli. Pls go check these out and support local.

Massive thanks to Rubus Social, Stod Fold Dean Clough & The Workshop and Loft for allowing me to put on my events. Without your support Padres really wouldn’t exist.

So what next for 2025? We’ll be continuing with our regular pop-events across the year and maybe some new places.

And coming soon our private in-house offering. If you’re having an evening in with friends, hen parties, birthday parties then we’ll come along and cook for you some of the best Mexican street food about.

We already have a few booked in the diary for this year, so this is an exciting new mini-venture. Please do get in touch if you want further details.

Been looking forward to this one for a while now.

Join us on Friday 20th December for the Stod Fold Dean Clough Xmas knees up, and then on Saturday 21st December, serving up some of the best tacos around.

We’ve got tacos & freshly made cocktails and locally brewed beers all evening, and to top it off we got some vibey tuneage on Friday evening!!

Food being served from 5:30pm until late on both evenings.

We return to Stod Fold Dean Clough next Friday & Saturday evening, serving up some fantastic Mexican street food

All our meats, sauces and salsas are cooked from scratch using the freshest local ingredients where possible.

All tacos served in pairs of gluten free corn tortillas w/melted cheese, salsa verde, pink pickled onions, fresh lime & coriander and tajin seasoning!!

If you wish to book a table for either evening, please contact Stod Fold on 01422 355600. All walk-ins are very welcome though.

WE ARE BACK!!

We’re very excited to announce that we’ll be returning to Stod Fold in Dean Clough Halifax, for 4 nights of flavoursome grub across November & December.

First up, we’ll be down on Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd November, with food being served from 6:30pm until late.

Please contact Stod Fold if you wish to book a table.

All our meats, sauces and salsas are cooked from scratch using the freshest local ingredients where possible.

On the menu that evening will be…

MEXICAN STYLE PULLED PORK
Pineapple, guajillo & ancho chilli marinated pork - crunchy spiced chicharrones

CHICKEN ENCACAHUATADO
Shredded chicken in a guajillo chilli & peanut sauce - spicy salsa macha - lime crema

MUSHROOM BIRRIA
King oyster mushrooms - red cabbage slaw

And a few limited specials on the evening as well…

LOADED TORTILLA CHIPS
Lime crema - salsa verde - feta - pink pickled onions - jalapeños - lime - coriander

SPICED CORN RIBS
Chipotle butter - chilli - coriander & lime dipping sauce

All tacos served in pairs of gluten free corn tortillas w/salsa verde, pink pickled onions, fresh lime & coriander.

MEXICAN STYLE PULLED PORK

Spice roasted cauliflower - chipotle romesco - red cabbage slaw

LOADED TORTILLA CHIPS

All tacos are garnished with salsa verde, onion, coriander & lime and tajin seasoning, and are served in pairs of 12 cm corn tortillas.

Great day out yesterday supporting Rastrick Cricket Club - 2024 charity golf day. Over £2000 raised throughout the day, and first time I’ve been on a golf course where there’s been a hole in one!! ⛳️
