Last night, we hosted our annual Sporting Dinner with the brilliant Harry Redknapp as our guest speaker—and what a night it was! 🌟
After a challenging week following the break-in, we hoped for a special evening, but our supporters completely exceeded all expectations. From the electric atmosphere in the room to the generosity shown, it was nothing short of remarkable.
During the live auction, we invited supporters to fund Mother’s Day at the Hospice, ensuring families in our community receive the best possible care on such a special day. Incredibly, four supporters donated £10,000 each, with an additional £3,000 from another supporter to make it happen. 💜
As if that wasn’t amazing enough, Harry Redknapp generously added an extra prize—a round of golf with him at his local golf club! This raised a further £9,000.
By the end of the evening, we had raised a record-breaking £128,590—the most we’ve ever raised at a single event. 🙌
This incredible total will make such a difference, especially for our nursing team who have had such a difficult week.
