Hello Everyone!

Welcome to 2025 at Flaurals 😁💐 for the new year I thought I would reintroduce myself and my business.

My name is Laura Manson. I live in Halkirk, Caithness where I run Flaurals from my house. You’ll hear me mention my husband Kevin, (nearly 11 month old) son Patrick, and our pets Enid 🐱 Ella 🐶 & Esme 🐶

I love a story and you will find me regularly talking through my day and what I’m up to.

I am really passionate about sustainability and I am always working to improve my business to support the environment and make my designs as eco friendly as possible.

I live for the specifics and realising your vision with creative designs that enhance the most important moments.

Flaurals is a floral design business that launched in April 2023. I have had a love of creating with flowers since I was small and this has always been a passion of mine to run my own business. It has been an exciting journey so far and I can’t wait to see where it takes me.

I offer all floral design services in fresh & artificial for weddings, funerals, gifts & home decor. I also host practical flower workshops and demonstrations where I teach groups to create unique arrangements and wreaths for different occasions.

Thank you for all your support this year, I am so grateful to each and every one of my customers that have made a purchase, ordered a bouquet, my Flaurals brides, Christmas orders, the group demonstration bookings, workshop attendees, and everyone supporting the Flaurals honesty box that launched this week! 🥰

I am so excited to go into 2025 and see what this small business will become with my family 🤩

That is me signing off now to enjoy some quality family time and put myself in a food coma after a full on December 🤣 I hope Santa has been good to everyone and you are all doing the same 🥰🎄

It’s Christmas Eve and that’s the Flaurals box full again!

Today we have:
- Large Christmas Arrangement
- Christmas Arrangement
- Christmas Envelope “Letter to Santa” Arrangements
- Hyacinth Decoative Pots (pink, blue, and white)
- Forever Roses (Ice dried roses that last for years)
- Festive Potpourri (cinnamon, orange, and pine cones, and decorative apples)

I also have a spare cemetary wreath as I was let down last minute on an order. I can decorate it in red, white, or blue. Please message to order!

I wanted to put a post up to thank everyone for supporting the Flaurals honesty box today! I really appreciate it as I was so nervous this morning putting everything out, especially after the delays. So when I seen that all the flowers had sold, I was nothing short of delighted that you all came out to get things from it 🥰

I will have the box fill up again tomorrow and I will put another post up once it’s ready with everything that is in it 💐🎄

Now to do some present wrapping with a Christmas film on before we go again tomorrow 🤩💐

Christmas wreaths from the workshop in Halkirk yesterday! Thank you to everyone for coming along, it was a great afternoon!

Fresh natural door wreaths!

This year I will be taking orders for fresh door wreaths on a moss base!

They are moss rings will have a variety of mixed foliage, cones, and berries. They are completely natural and use sustainable materials.

I will be doing 2 sizes, 45cm diameter and 55cm diameter. They are £22.50 and £28.50

If you are looking for a different style, I make all wreaths to order so give me a message to enquire about something bespoke.

Wow and that’s the workshops kicked off!

Thank you to everyone that came last night. A lovely night in Castletown for the first Christmas wreath making workshop. Everyone did so well and made lovely wreaths!

Halkirk this afternoon for another wreath workshop, I look forward to seeing everyone there 😁
