It Is with a heavy heart that I regret to tell you The Little Flowerhouse is to close. 💔 I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wash Farm, and I have met some amazing people. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey, for your wisdom, encouragement, and loyalty, I couldn't have come this far without you. I am only sorry this journey has to end. 💐💜💐
The shop will remain open throughout July between 9am and 4pm Tuesday to Saturday for the sale of all stock items, including:
Vases and containers, gift items, ribbons, cards, everlasting flowers and arrangements, and furniture! But no fresh flowers 💐💜💐

I am so lucky to have the most wonderful customers, but I wanted to show you the behind-the-scenes stories of how the magic happens … how I turn flowers from here in the uk and abroad into the messages you want to send.
There is so much more to the flower industry than people think … it is a multibillion-pound industry that stretches around the globe and up the road, and comes with a lot of challenges … like making sure that I receive the deliveries on time, that the flowers are kept in perfect condition and having the rescue skills of an emergency service to make sure those all-important last-minute requests are dealt with. It’s a wonderful profession, but it’s definitely not ‘playing with flowers!’
I am passionate about my job, and I get to help people on every occasion in their lives. Being part of National Florist Day will allow me to share just some of the magic we create every day and how we do it.
In fact, as Caroline Marshall-Foster, Editor of the industry’s leading journal, The Florist Trade Magazine and Founder of National Florist Day says: “There is there something magical about working with flowers, and florist shops are often at the heart of every community. The wedding season has well and truly started at the 💐
This delicate bouquet, and pretty buttonholes were for Christine and Richard today. Congratulations to the happy couple 🥂🍾
I am often asked if i do wedding flowers, and of course, the answer is yes 😊 With that in mind, I have been doing some 'homework' in readiness for the next one on Saturday 💐 All of my buttonholes and corsages are made using the traditional method of wiring every element of the design, thus creating a light but stable and secure adornment to compliment any wedding atire. 💐
