Yes, these are an alternative to christenings, held wherever you would like them to be held for your new child. These type of ceremonies are a wonderful way of welcoming adopted or stepchildren into your family. Ceremonies like this introduce the opportunity to show your commitment to nurture, protect and support your child, and it's an opportunity for siblings and supporting adults to welcome a new child to the family too! And to all the LGBTQ+ community. I just want you to know that I love to work with all of you. love is love.. Everyone should be able to live and love fully, openly and authentically. I embrace all ethnic backgrounds and I am respectful of all religions. I am a dementia friend. In fact I am a fully trained dementia practitioner... but that's in my other life!
