🖤 The Face Behind The Business 🖤

Hi!

It's about time I introduced myself! I'm Kaiya the face behind Black Veil Bridal.

I started Black Veil Bridal after my own journey to find an alternative wedding dress on a budget seemed impossible!

After visiting a few traditional bridal shops I quickly realised that alternative and black bridal gowns were mainly sold online which devastated me as I wanted to have that 'say yes to the dress' moment in my gown. I also didn't fully know what style I wanted so found it impossible to choose something without knowing!

After some digging online I found that there were only a few options for shops that specialise in black and alternative wedding dresses near me and they were out of my price range. I was open to the idea of buying a preloved gown but found it daunting knowing I may not be able to return it. I couldn't believe the lack of options for someone on a budget that didn't want a white dress!

So I started Black Veil Bridal!

My aim is to give non traditional and alternative brides the dress shopping experience in a welcoming, judgement free space. Going dress shopping is such a memorable moment so it should be exactly how you imagined it! Not everyone can justify spending thousands on a dress that they only get to wear once so Preloved dresses are a perfect solution.

A few facts about me:
🖤 I am getting married in May next year.
🖤 I have grown up in Halstead.
🖤 I'm a petrol head with a love for old Japanese cars.
🖤 I love all things gothic.
🖤 I really enjoy being creative.
🖤 I love music and often go to concerts (most recent being Muse and BMTH).

OPENING SOON!

Calling all non traditional and alternative brides! 🖤

Are you looking for a black wedding dress but can't find anywhere to try some on? Are you too nervous to buy one online because, let's face it, you never know what you're going to receive?

I was in that exact position a few months ago and couldn't believe the lack of AFFORDABLE alternative wedding dress boutiques in Essex. So I decided to change that!

Black Veil Bridal will be a small pop up studio in Halstead, Essex offering appointments for brides to come in and try on some gorgeous PRELOVED alternative and black gowns in the comfort of a non judgemental and welcoming studio, with snacks and drinks of course!

At the moment all of our dresses are under £1500 with some being as low as £100! Our dresses currently range from a size 8 to a size 22 and we are on the look out for more plus sized dresses too as we truly believe EVERYONE should feel beautiful and have the opportunity to find their dream dress!
