Celebrate Robert Burns at on Saturday 25th January.

Burns Night is a celebration of Scottish heritage, honoring the iconic poet Robert Burns with a hearty meal of haggis, neeps, and tatties, along with poetry recitations and perhaps a warming dram or two. It’s also a chance to pay tribute to Scotland’s rich legacy of creativity.

Come raise a glass to the timeless words of Burns and dive into a tradition that bridges the ages. Experience the remarkable talent that defines Scotland, where the past and present unite to create a celebration that truly embodies the heart and spirit of the nation.

We are pleased to announce that on Friday 25th October 2024 we received a letter from Buckingham Palace saying:

"… after careful consideration, His Majesty The King would be delighted to accept the Royal Patronage of the Royal Southern Yacht Club."

This continues the legacy of Royal Patronage previously held by his father the late HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh who followed in the footsteps of H.M. Queen Victoria, H.R.H. The Prince Consort, H.M. King Edward VII and H.M. King George V.

This is fantastic news and we hope you are all as happy and as proud as we are. We express our heartfelt thanks to His Majesty King Charles III for accepting this Patronage, and we are honoured by his choice to uphold this legacy.
