We are all Still in shock and absolutely gutted in hearing the news yesterday of the unexpected passing of Aaron North . He was a true gentleman and gentle giant as we referred to him, he was like a brother to us 😞

Aaron was by far one of the best DJs and producers We got the pleasure of working with. Aaron first started working with us back in 2017 when we set up Mission House Nights and was one of our resident DJs. He supported us from the very off and believed in our dream to create a successful brand. Before we set up Mission Records UK Aaron was behind the scenes giving his input and was our very first signing with his track "Won't Forget You" still to this day this is our most successful release 🙏 Aaron's professional career was just beginning to excel and doors were opening. Aaron had a very bright future ahead of him. He is a credit and true inspiration to the music scene and will forever be remembered not just for his talent but for the loving, caring gentleman and friend he was to many 💙

All our condolences go to his family, especially his Girlfriend and young son. This breaks our 💔 to even comprehend that little boy been left without his father that has been taken far to young 😓 There is a Go Fund Me page that has been set up to help support them both through this difficult time. His career started at the Place night club in Hanley, mixing the latest cutting edge Electro / hip - hop, attracted crews from far and wide, to break-dance and battle, Daz swiftly moved with the times as the music changed from Electro and hip - hop, to Acid House! Daz took the opportunity and moved with the times with his progression and knowledge of the dance scene he was soon approached by the promoter of Introspective, were he became the resident along side Justin Carr. This saw him move from club to club from stoke to brum and settling down with a new residency at the legendary clubs in Stoke on Trent known as, Entropy and Shelley's.

He also played regular at The 'Eclipse', in Coventry, 'Amnesia House', plus many more venues and events throughout the UK, in 1993
Daz Willott started at the legendry 'Club Kinetic' he played there on a regular bases.

Daz Willott as worked alongside some of the biggest and best dj's in the world, Carl Cox, Sasha, Judge Jules, Stu Allen, Top Buzz, Graham Parks, Micky Finn Hixxy, Top Buzz, Dave Seaman, Dougal, Doc Scott, Slipmatt, Brisk, Groove Ryder, Alex MC Energy and supported live P.A's, N -joi, K-Klass, 808 state, Shades Of Rhythm, Dream Frequency, Altern 8 the list of djs and bands (P.A.s) is endless….
He has also worked at many super clubs, Gods Kitchen, Air, Cream, Helter Skelter, HTID, Wigan pier, Maximes,
Daz has also been resident Dj for Illusion events in Stoke since it started.
2011 Saw a massive interest in Daz Willott due to the fact that he had become a household name from the early 90's, with this brought him a regular slot at the all new Fanatzia events and also being booked at the Retro Trax Festival may 2012 & 2013.

Daz has also played and toured all round Australia and New Zealand and on a few occasions also in Ibiza at events such as Fantazia in the sun.

From the age of 10 I had a big interest in music getting a basic record deck with built in speaker for my bedroom, playing 7” singles. My neighbour gave me their record deck of the same make and that’s when I first started playing records over two decks.

A couple of years past and through my older friends I started to listen to Electro Hip Hop. The whole scene really grabbed me as a kid, DJ’ing, Breakdancing, Rapping & Graffiti. It was like nothing else I’d ever heard or seen before, I’d search and buy the ‘Street Sounds Electro Hip Hop’ series records and practice my Breakin’ moves.

At the age of 14 I got myself a Memorex Hi-fi deck for £50 from Tandy, paying about £5 a week from my pocket money. These turntables were belt driven and had a rotary pitch control which was visible within the workings of the deck. This deck was the only affordable budget option as Technics 1200’s were too pricey for me at the time.
Soon after I purchased a Realistic 2 channel mixer from Tandy also £50 and was soon trying to copy the Scratching sounds, techniques I’d heard from records such as Herby Hancock’s – ‘Rocket’, Arthur Bakers – ‘Breakers Revenge’, Time Zone – 'Wildstyle' and from DJ’s Cash Money, Cheeze & Jazzy Jeff and my home town legend ‘3 Jaze’ who’s Mixtapes were a true inspiration.

After a couple of years struggling to master the art of Scratching but finally upgrading to Technics 1210’s, I then started to learn how to beat match as Chicago House, Detroit Techno & Acid House was really starting to get big, mid to late ‘80’s. I tried to master blending tracks together rather than scratching and dropping them in, I then only used scratching to spice up the mix.

My first big break came when I was 17, as on the 16th June 1990 my friend set up his own Rave night in Huddersfield called Forbidden Zone @ Venn Street. I was added to the flyer under my Graffiti / Tag name at the time ‘Creator’ and playing alongside DJ’s Paul Oakenfold, Paul Trouble Anderson, Chad Jackson and T.O.N.Y (from the Hacienda), this night was a sell out and an amazing experience.

From there I’ve gone on to DJ all over the UK and abroad as well as doing Radio shows on local Pirate, legal and online radio stations.
I consider myself an open-minded music lover and a versatile DJ. Over the years I’ve played a vast selection of musical styles, like: Electro (Hip Hop), Chicago House, Detroit Techno, Acid House, Warehouse, Funk, Hip Hop, Rap, Breaks, Breakbeat Hardcore, Jungle, Drum & Bass, UK House, Italian house, Garage, Hardcore, Piano House, Speed Garage, 2 Step, Trance, Bounce, Scouse House, Bassline House, Dubstep, Funky House & Electro House.

As well as DJing I started producing records in 1991 making Breakbeat Hardcore, My first release was Dance Floor Justice – Hip Hop Hardcore EP (Fulcrum records), I’ve remixed Terrorize – It’s Just A Feeling (Suicidal Mix) on Hamster records and I’ve had a release signed to FFRR records, Dreamon – The Beat.

Around 1996 Myself and Gary Dreamwurx started to produce harder pumpin’ House and over the next couple of years we released our first Bounce track with the familiar Donk bass sound and incorporating a bootleg mash up feel, Monsoon & Dreamworx – Everybody Dance (White label) in 1998.
From there we went on to release tracks in the same vein using Old Skool Accapellas and mashing up anthems for the Bounce scene on Pump records and our own label, Bounce Nation. We’ve gone on to remix releases for Ministry of Sound, Clubland, Data and All Around the world records to name a few. Since 1998 as well as being an Old Skool DJ I’ve been DJing at Bounce events around the north west for all the familiar brands, Wigan Pier, Maximes, Monroes, Pleasure Rooms, Sanctuary, 051 and Zone to name but a few.

DJ Shock-C ❤️

Coming from a musical family,with both his father and sister being dj’s it was only natural progression for him to start playing as well..

His first break in the club/pub DJ’ing door came from Shane Brown , A local Coventry Dj , and Man Parris and (a well know uk rave m.c.) at the Tally Ho pub and Reflections nightclub in Coventry in the late eighties. In those days he was playing a mixture of early House, Hip Hop, Acid and Funk.. It wasn’t until the Eclipse opened in Coventry , that Shock C got the biggest break of his career..two months after opening, Shock C became resident mc/dj at the Eclipse Coventry.

The Eclipse was the first Saturday night/Sunday morning experience in the Midlands, put on at the former Granada Bingo Hall in Lower Ford Street,Coventry,England
The bingo hall had now been transformed into a 4 floored nightclub, and was also voted the best nightclub in the country in 1991 by fellow ravers through DJ Magazine. With a chill out space including a cinema on the ground floor, a second floor room enough to hold 500 people, and the main room on the top floor holding over a 1000 people including the balcony.
Every Friday and Saturday night would be filled by clubber’s and raver’s from all over Britain..
Act’s such as :The Prodigy,K Klass, SL2, Altern 8, Moby, Shades of Rhythm and LFO all passed through it’s door’s with live p.a. set’s.
D.j.’s such as,Frankie Valentine, Grooverider,CarcoCox,Sasha,Frankie Bones,Micky Finn , Top buzz etc,all graced the decks on a regular basis
February 94,the club was closed.
At the time of closing more than one million people had passed through its doors and it had a standing membership of 74,000. .

Well, once Shock C managed to establish a name for himself at one of Britain’s biggest all night rave clubs, work started to come in. It was at this stage that he decided to give up his daytime job as a trainee mechanic..."The eclipse/Edge club gave me a hands on education ,It basically gave me a foundation for everything that came after, Watching, listening and learning.. They were magically times..!"
When The Edge (formerly The Eclipse) finally closed its doors, Shock C had already started to spread his wings and play at various venues around the country,and abroad.. In the early 90’s the rave scene really exploded ,And things really took off bookings wise for Shock C , Club Rage in Leicester, Quest in Wolverhampton, Shelleys in Stoke,as the years went by, he graced the decks at venues and parties far and wide,racking up the miles up and down the motorways to raves such as Dance trance and Desire at the legendary Sanctuary in Milton Keynes, Pure X in Northampton, Pandemonium at the Institute in Birmingham, Flashback at the Que club in Birmingham, Dance Planet at the Hummingbird in Birmingham, And he also became a resident at the legendary Amnesia House events.

Shock C has racked up over 30 years experience behind the decks, and has managed to take his skills (with very few production credits to his name i might add) far and wide!..With recent appearences at the Legendary Raindance,Amnesia House , Rave Story , Epidemik ,Boomtown festival,Shelley Reunions and Flashback etc..Shock C continues to entertain ravers and party goers up and down the country,And his passion for the scene still burns as strong as ever!.
