Exhibition life.
Turning temporary power plans into real life.
Working before the chippies start laying floors, through to ensuring their positions when walls are built and then final testing and terminations into customer furniture.
Around 95% of the cables laid over 3 stands were in their right place leaving only minor changes for the remainder 5%.

Approached by another AV company we regularly work with the brief of sound requirements by the client was as follows:

A team building event set in the round, with 6 tables around an open forum "arena" each table is to have a microphone and a means to be able to hear each table and the main keynote speaker facilitator.

These tiny passive speakers pack a punch and are very discrete. Sat on the table but equally sited for microphone stands.

It is this kind of unusual solution CBSVL excels in! We presented another option including a more formal delegate conference system by each delegate, but this was chosen to be more fun and flexible.

Providing PA and microphone support for a panel session at the Latton Bush centre in Harlow. The Latton Bush centre has a PA system which is great for most events, but when several microphones are needed with a full room of people it's often best to call in professional support to make sure there is no feedback and that presenters can be heard, and muted when necessary

Great day supporting for their rock the park full audio production including amplification of backline and generator hire for the acoustic tent. The great weather and atmosphere really make the park a great place. It is great to see the bandstand being used and supporting the young talent on the stage to walk in the footsteps of some famous bands that have played Harlow bandstand!

This is a bit of an odd one... But we use an engine lift in the workshop to lift things and hold them while we carry out maintenance. Though in a little bit this lift will be going onto a filmset and feature shortly on a high profile streaming channel!

wow, what a weekend! emergency and announcement systems deployed at two fields. one for armed forces day, and the other for a family fun day.

Here are some stats from the weekend!

-Approx 5000 people exposure
-1 short power failure by venue power backed up by our ups proving faultless coverage in event of emergency
-3 lost children reunited with parents in under 15 minutes
-2 lost phones reunited
-2 lost wallets reunited
-Announcements for 4 vehicles succesfully moved having parked next to a jousting arena!
- 3 announcements for punch and Judy
- 3 military dog shows covered and commentary provided.
-1 phone dropped down a portable toilet (not ours, but the PA system got the attention of the right person to help!
-1 commentary of the battle of Britain spitfighter flyby
-clean concise information related about the time of events at each venue.
-0 joke names read out by teenagers prentneding to be lost (we're good at censoring them)

So when somebody says do I really need a outside public address system for fun days or fetes, we would just point to the above! It speaks for itself!

A tricky solution solved by providing a 150m cabled link between a church and marquee to relay live sound and HD video of a service happening in a church.

Ambient microphones were placed in the church to pick up the natural reverberation as well as lectern specific microphones. Relaying a genuine sound helped along with the live video feed to give a fully immersive environment for the people present in the marquee.

Audio and video was run over full IP with redundancy. Radio links were out of the question as radar from a local airport final approach was nearby and there was a strong radio interference.

Realised we've not posted many pictures of events since the world started to return back to normal.
Here was the lighting of the beacon for her majesty's jubilee for a local council. We used 4 of our KV2 ex26 speakers arranged in a way to provide a really uniform coverage. The horns are 100x100 degrees meaning they cover a really wide area. Ran from a suitcase silent generator we provided the payback alongside the evenings processions for speeches and music.

Announcements and emergency station for broadcast for an airshow today. We run with backup amplifiers and battery backup in event of an emergency! Coverage of this system for announcements was in excess of 180m.

Coming out of lockdown and the events slowly are slowly starting thaw and resume. This last week took CBSVL to its furthest ever reach in the UK, right up to Aberdeen!

Looking back to around this time in 2019. We supplied a large sound system for one of London's biggest transport companies for London Pride. It's hard to comprehend the number of people in the city when looking back!
