👋👋👋 it’s been absolutely ages since I last showed my face on here — needless to say this side of the business doesn’t quite come naturally to me. It’s been such a long time however, that I felt a hello would be nice to reintroduce myself…

My name is Bronwyn and I’m the owner and founder of Bronze, my beloved little flower studio based here in Yorkshire.

I work from my studio in Harrogate to create flowers for weddings and creative projects all over the UK. Through flowering I have been absolutely blessed to meet the most amazing couples and fellow creatives, many of whom have become great friends.

I would describe my style as romantic and whimsical, garden inspired flowers with a modern edge. My designs are organic, yet highly curated and purposeful.

When I’m not working I’m at home with my husband Phil and our two dogs, Mac and Albert. My other loves include designing jewellery (more on that another day) and botanical art — before discovering flowers my dream was to be a tattoo artist (maybe something I’ll revisit one day). I’m also fascinated by law and true crime, so you’ll often find me live streaming trials while in the studio.

Bronze was started, slightly unluckily, a matter of weeks before the covid pandemic shut everything down, and so it’s been a rocky few years to get things where they are today. I’m incredibly proud of what this little studio has achieved, and so excited for the next couple of wedding seasons which are set to be the best yet.

A variation on a single variety bridesmaid theme — for Jess and Matt’s November wedding we wanted to create their bridesmaid bouquets with a slightly more modern, minimalist vibe. Instead of mix and match varieties, we designed a slightly different bouquet for each bridesmaid using the same two floral ingredients in different combinations. So much fun and almost as gorgeous as those bridesmaid dresses 😍

My absolute favourite from this roll of film — something so ghostly and ethereal about it. Love them all but this one is *special*

September 2023 in the studio, shot on 35mm. One of my favourites from this roll of film, which was many many many years old, found in the back of a drawer, and a “roll of the dice” in terms of what might come back.

Single variety bridesmaid bouquets have become a signature design for us at this point, so needless to say we’re so thrilled that this is becoming a bigger trend in general! Truly one of the best ways to include a little personality in your flowers. Plus we design ours so that each person is holding a different variety from their bride’s bouquet 🥺 I can’t think of a better example of how well this works than Cat and Matt’s wedding back in July, captured so perfectly by .kelly
