Lots of things being planned for the Harrogate Regency Ball 2024

This year we will have the returning mini pop up market after the dance practice and into early evening. (If you are a maker or crafter who covers regency period items let us know)

We are also planning a talk in the morning of the ball which will take place by the Northern Branch of the Jane Austen society.... more information will be coming very soon.

On the Sunday there is a walking tour in Harrogate Town centre which the lovely chap who organises the tour has opened the invite to people attending the Ball weekend.

There will also be a visit to the Royal pump room museum which is the strongest sulphur well in Europe and has had a wide range of international visitors including the Tsarina.

If you want to travel a bit further afield Knaresborough is a short distance away which includes so many things to do from lovely cafes to rowing boats or even a visit to Old mother shiptons cave.

So make sure you come along to this year's Harrogate ball and can make it a weekend of all things regency.

The Royal Hall is having a number of guided tour sessions including Friday 29th March. If of interest to people we can book a group tour.

We are currently discussing a number of other tours and meet up opportunities over the Easter weekend which will be up online very soon.

We all know it's the horrible weather time of year, but did you know the Harrogate Regency Ball has a range of transport options nearby?

This includes on site carriage parking to a 10 minutes walk to the Harrogate train station or even the Leeds Bradford Airport (30 minutes car journey).

There are so many things to do when visiting the area for the Harrogate Regency Ball 2024 from visiting the fabulous shops and cafes including the iconic Bettys Tearooms, Harrogate to cracking antiques and vintage shops.

Thinking about attending the Harrogate Regency Ball 2024 ?

The Cedar Court Hotel home to the regency ball, sits on the site of the very first hotel in Harrogate built in 1671 and is now a grade 2 listed building.

The location of the ball is within a few minutes walk from the Harrogate train station, plenty of parking at the hotel and only 30 minutes drive from Leeds Bradford Airport.

Accommodation at the hotel is available at a special group rate for the ball weekend and can include additions such as afternoon tea within the 4 start hotel.
