Back in 2000 singer songwriter Matt anderson was a homeless teenager and to his releif he got taken in by 'The Harrogate Homeless Project'.A local charity providing accomadation and support for the homeless.After support from The Homeless project Matt then joined The british army.Years later Matt started writing music about his experiences in life with a view to help people along the way.The Harrogate Homeless Project has always been a charity close to his heart and in 2011 with the backing of The RAOB Grove house and other local singer songwriters he put on a montly acoustic night called 'music in the manor' to raise money for the homeless project.Two years later after many gigs and festivals across the UK. MATT ANDERSON has decided to bring back 'Music in the manor' to raise even more funds for a different local charity, SAINT MICHAELS HOSPICE.You can contact the ST MICHAELS HOSPICE either by emailing ….............. or telephoning …...... for information as to how YOU can help. A monthly event called ‘Music in the Manor’ is to be held the first friday of every month ( in The RAOB Grove House, on Skipton Road opposite the Fire Station. Grove House is a meeting place and convalescent home for the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffalos (RAOB). This exciting venue has been recently refurbished and offers drinks at affordable prices. Music in the Manor will start at 8p.m. Till late. A collection will be made which will be donated to ST MICHAELS HOSPICE.
