Unique & Peaceful 🌸

The Grim’s D**e Hotel is set in 40 acres of beautiful woodland grounds and stunning formal gardens.

There is a truly unique and peaceful atmosphere which provides a relaxing oasis so close to the bustle of London.

The gardens have a rich history initiated by Victorian artist Frederick Goodall and then extended and enhanced by Sir William and Lady Gilbert.

Today the gardens are still carefully maintained with the addition of the hotel vegetable garden.

"Where do I start??!! From the moment I stepped into the reception area, I was greeted with a smile and friendly staff. Everyone went above and beyond to assist me in all possible ways.

I am a semi disabled, 65-year-old woman from Canada, and everyone was generous with their time, their help and just their kindness. And what can I say about Evan, the lovely bartender!? Such a lovely young man. Always ready with a smile, helping hand, and just generally a kind, wonderful human being.

I truly wish that my stay at the Grim's D**e Hotel could have been longer. I would’ve enjoyed taking my scooter through all the paths in the gardens. I’m quite sure once the spring and summer come along, it would be absolutely beautiful. The room was very comfortable.
