Ladies and Gentlemen, Sky Ondo… this years winner of the Richard Horrocks Memorial Award at Hartlepool Sixth Form
Sky was assigned the role of Creative Assistant to basically be next in command after myself and Savanna, and really stepped up to the plate, running rehearsals, refining vocals and harmonies, polishing choreography, and she knew the show inside out both onstage and off. She’s matured so much in the past year and I’m beyond excited to see where her future takes her. A force and talent to be reckoned with!
It’s always a hard choice and I’ve got to say a massive well done and thank you to Miss Shannon Winship as well. Shannon has just been a dream… she was the first off script, has been helping out with costumes, as singing captain and with set/props, and everyone who’s came to watch has said she’s been the most perfect Grace Farrell! So, thank you, Shannon, your efforts never go unnoticed!
Truly blessed to have such incredible young people in our department - amazing role models for current and future cohorts.

Well, it’s not the end of year we had planned… with illness galore, last minute changes and technical difficulties (obviously), we finally finished filming at 9pm tonight.
We send love, well wishes and get well soons to those who are resting and recovering, and we take our hats off to these incredible students.
They never fail to blow our minds with their effort, determination and talents, you are all incredible!
