It's been a while since we did a post showing you what The Hen House is all about!
The Hen House is suitable for children from 0-8 years old.
We have a designated under 2's area for little ones to safely do tummy time and practice pulling themselves up. There's a little ball pit, building blocks and a rocker in there too.
For over 2's our main play frame will encourage climbing, balancing, spinning, sliding and exploring.
We have a sensory room with a light up dance floor and lots of things to feel and play with.
We have ride-ons and walkers so children can move about how they please as well as a role play area and reading corner.
Lots to keep them busy so you can relax and have fun too!
We're open 7 days a week. Walk-ins are welcome but at this time of year we encourage you to book online in advance.

🧼 Providing a clean and hygienic environment for you and your children has never been more important to us.
Below are all the measures we have put in place to ensure the high levels of hygiene you’ve come to expect at The Hen House.
💪 Before we reopened The Hen House received a deep clean by the lovely team at CleanKing
⏰ In between each play session we close for 20 minutes so we can disinfect the toys, the soft play equipment, the frequent contact spots such as door handles as well as the usual highchairs and tables.
🌙 Our cleaners will also be doing a thorough clean every evening after closing as we always have.
🤹♀️ The ball pit is still missing it’s balls but that’s because we can’t clean them quickly enough in between each session. Instead the building blocks provide a soft landing when jumping in!
🔍 Small and hard to clean items like the dollhouse have been removed until it’s safe to put them back. To make sure your little ones don’t get bored we’ve installed a new play house and sensory toys. The trolley’s, car, pushchairs and the play kitchen are all still there! 🚗 ⛑🌭🛒
🕺 The disco floor is back on 💃🏻
💨For ventilation we’ll either use our air conditioning or open the doors. Our air con system has just been seviced so we can be sure it’s safe to use.
🪑 Each booking / table is only for two households or six guests (including babies and children). We have reduced how many bookings are available for each play session.
😷 We ask that masks are worn by adults at all times.
🍴 Remember we are now offering our full menu again so why not head down for a weekend fry-up and a read of the paper whilst the little ones burn off some energy 🍳
