There's something magical about visiting the places that were pivitol in forming the man I've become, the foundations of these places were laid down by my parents' generation, incredible people, some born nearly a century ago! Intelligent, charismatic, incredible people who've left an incredible legacy. To be reminded of who and where I came from today has been a priceless blessing.

Resonance frequency.

I've been and had a few intimate relationships in this lifetime and with hindsight I have realised that what I look for, more than anything else is resonance, do our conversations resonate deeply within my spirit and soul, if not then I'm afraid I'll pass and I'll keep waiting.
The sweetest conversations are those where we channel universal consciousness and speak deep truth back and forth. Meanwhile, our ego's get to listen in and learn. If it's not that resonance frequency alignment type of love, then I don't want it!

Where I live, all the youth hang outside McDonalds. Where are the youth clubs? and his cronies have obliterated youth and mental health services but win elections with soundbites by pandering to the lowest common denominator.

I am still floating in a giant love bubble a whole week later! and , here's my short wedding speech.

(Bare with me, I'm ad-libbing)

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, a heart that is open, I witnessed something last weekend, a kind of punctuation on a long healing journey I've been on.

The two of you brought together a group of us and filled our hearts to the brim with love, you're a beautiful example and inspiration to us all, the best of us, you've really started something, not just for the two of you but for a community, we're all fragments of the divine just trying to remember and remind each other of that fact and the two of you epitomise how powerful we can be when we remember that we're all part of one, rich, divine tapestry, we're all just fragments of the universe, loving itself unconditionally.

All you kids getting your GCSE results today, the grades I got were nothing short of embarrassing, my mum was so upset, one of the other kids at church had gotten 9 A's, "why didn't you study harder?" I had to re-sit Maths, English and I added in Business studies, I never worried though, I always believed I'd be a musician, that might explain the grades, I didn't believe in plan b's, I've since learned to shift and adapt with the currents and tides of life and always keep moving forwards. For all of the gigs I've done, not once have they asked what GCSE grades I got. Good luck to you all but if you don't do as well as you'd have liked, it's not the end of the world. p.s. that's me being keyboard player and musical director for Krept & Konan on MTV.

I had an absolute blast on stage last night with Illmatika 'dnbsoulbrother' and the dnbsoultrain at Hootananny Brixton. Looking forward to more shows and stages.
