🌟✨ What a fantastic time we had at Danceaway last Friday at The Observer Building Hastings! 🎶💃🕺

It was heartwarming to see so many of our amazing over 60s community come together to dance, have fun, and create new friendships.

💖 This event is all about alleviating loneliness and fostering connections, and we couldn't be happier with the turnout!

Look inward with collaging...

We have a new crafty class to bring you with Alley Way Learning: Self-Portraits: The Sum of Me- Collaging workshop:)

This is an introductory workshop to learning how to create your own self portrait through collage with Jo. Jo an artist interested in anatomy, the human body, all things medical and things Surreal.

Please bring any photocopies of photographs that are special to you. You will discover how to cut out and assemble your pieces, creating interesting juxtapositions that are hopefully fun, thought provoking and bring your personality alive!

Vehicle Smart - Car Check

12 new homes will be coming to the Observer Building in 2026! Hastings Commons are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a £1 million grant from the Hastings Towns Fund to support the delivery of 12 affordable, sustainable and energy efficient homes in the Observer Building.

The OB Homes project will repurpose 765sqm of previously derelict floor space on the second and third floors of the Observer Building with homes provided for those in severe housing need.

Currently the plan is for construction to start early in 2025 and to be complete by March 2026.
