The Holy Child

The Holy Child site is a former Convent and Chapel with ancillary buildings constructed on approximately 12 acres of land at St Leonards in Hastings. Post war there was a boarding school on the site until 1976 I am now pleased to announce that the site is now available to the public for Weddings, Civil Services, Blessings, Christenings, Garden Parties, social functions, anniversary-celebrations etc.

Bosting grand exteriors of 19th century buildings and gardens, diverse interiors from ball rooms through wood panelled offices and original galleried 19th Century library to convent dormitory rooms and a range of bedrooms in different sizes. In the upper fields there are even two football pitches and 42 classrooms. The perimeter is entirely sandstone walled and is delightfully private.

This is a site of great historic significance and offers a fantastic Victorian setting for your function. There stands in the form of the Pugin & Pugin designed Chapel one of the most intact High Victorian Gothic interiors which will wow your guests and provide the traditional wedding backdrop for your personalised celebrations.
