HRFC Dolphins v Ellingham & Ringwood (W59-29) 😎👊 A cold sunny dayout at the Lane covering the Dolphins in their top of the table clash with ER. A competitive encounter, and while first half honours went to the Dolphins maintaining the attacking initiative, the ER fightback for their 4 Try Bonus point highlighted the very credible and competitive second half performance they subsequently ground out in front of an appreciative Lane crowd. 👏

Looking beyond the current league deliverables - The Dolphins clearly look to be in a good place and our ability to maintain coherent outputs at this level seems to be going ok, with 14 bonus point wins out of 14 👍- but rest assured as we march towards promotion, so maintaining a readily available pool of credible talent ready to step up to the attritional nat2e output... while retaining a properly formed competitive and coherent output against the much improved New Dolphins league opposition next season, will undoubtedly generate a much stiffer challenge for the Dolphin management than they are currently facing. One thing for certain our wider senior player group will undoubtedly be exposed to a much more rigorous test each week and will need to generate even more resilience … but the spectators will obviously get to watch even more senior competitive rugby at the lane. Whats not to like?! No one said it would be easy 😉

Undefeated so far this season, they face 2nd placed Ellingham & Ringwood with a 2pm KO.

Bars open from 12pm with a BBQ available for food through the afternoon.

The club will be open from 10am - 2pm with refreshments provided.

It's an informal event and a great chance to find out more about the great work that the WI do alongside what we offer here at Havant Rugby Club.

No tickets required and the event is free to attend 👌🏉

Starting off this Saturday with the Dolphins entertaining Ellingham & Ringwood and Havant Women hosting Blackheath on Sunday 🏉

Our 1st Team then play Canterbury on Saturday 25th with a Pre-Match Lunch available to book 🏉

It's then time for the 6 Nations with live coverage of England's games on our Big Screens throughout the tournament 📺

Congratulations to our U16 boys' squad’s for being crowned league champions. The U16 B team secured their league title in November, and following the first XV's victory on Sunday, they have now clinched the Hampshire 1 title with an impressive 73-14 win against Bournemouth.

The future is certainly looking bright for these young Havant stars!
