We are excited to announce that a new group will this year be exhibiting at Take A Walk Take A Walk Through The Ages 2023. The FTG or Forces Together Group. This is a group of like minded individuals who’s sole purpose in doing this is to raise funds and more importantly awareness of the plight of the roughly 6000 veterans on the streets. With massive support from the the RBLI especially Lisa Cooksley-White couldn’t have done this without her she has supported us massively and will be there throughout the weekend. As I said we are not a re-enactment group yes some people will be dressed as current soilders but only if they have been in the military and if wearing insignia to a specific and ra k they must of served in that unit and had that rank. Myself as I haven’t been in the military will doing private military contractor. We will have a mock up field camp where you can views the clothing, rations and weapons that soldiers would have and talk about their experiences if they wish. Children can even had their pictures taken in current military equipment with a airsoft non firing weapons, all we ask is a small Donation!for the charity. Anyone is free to join both military and non military but if you are non military your most welcome to but can only wear m combats trousers and a RBLI top. We are on the weekend aswell setting the record for the most people sleeping under the stars in one place for the great Tommy Sleep Out 2023.
