Thank you to everyone who sponsored Electra Star Dance on their adventure to Prague 🇨🇿 for the Dance World Cup.

Especially those who attended the Table Top Sale at The Cartlodge Horam Manor Farm, donated raffle prizes etc. A particular mention to Hummingbird Boutique, Anna generously donated some of her beautiful pieces for our raffle. And Hailsham Pavilion - Cinema and Theatre for cinema tickets. These are just 2 of the many generous donations.

It was the dance school’s first time competing and it was a huge success.
Anaconda coming 5th in the World out of 39 for show dance was a particular highlight! Here are some of the pictures.

We are looking for someone to rent this lovely studio. It has been used for sewing classes and an art studio before that. It is a versatile space.

🧵 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🧵

Dear all,

Sadly I have made the decision to bring the sewing classes to an end with immediate effect due to a family member being unwell and needing all of my time and focus over the coming months.

I have the studio until the end of May to give me time to clear and sell the equipment - get in touch if you are interested in a Janome 725S sewing machine (£150 - I have 7 for sale) or a dress stand (£50 - I have two, one is sizes 12 to 24, the other is sizes 6 to 16). I will be at the studio this coming weekend (27/28 April) from 10am to 1pm if you want to drop in.

I have loved meeting and teaching all of my wonderful students over the last 2 and a bit years and wish them all well as they continue their sewing journey ❤️

Urgent- Land between Rosemead Place and Laundry Lane.
Although there was strong objection from many local people, as well as Horam Parish Council, to building on this field, developers have now challenged Wealden District Council's decision to refuse planning permission.
If you want to make comments on it, there is only a short amount of time - see attached flyer.

🌳Horam Manor Farm woodlands and nature trails🌳
I regret to say that, due to health and safety issues, there will be no access to the Horam Manor Farm woodlands and nature trails which are usually open around Easter, until further notice.
This is because of the presence in these woods of the disease known as Ash Die Back (Chalara Fraxinea), causing the infected trees to drop branches at any time, which is dangerous for anyone in the vicinity. We are working on a programme of removing the infected trees, but in itself this can be a difficult and sometimes dangerous task and will take some time.
Please help protect the woodlands by staying out of the walks and woods beyond the gates with closed signs on and so not spreading this disease.
