Step back in time with a spectacular display of vintage tractors and farm vehicles in our historic courtyard on Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 February. From classic machines to pre-2000s agricultural gems, discover the evolution of farming heritage in this two-day showcase.

How it all started…

Rewind 4 years and Tom asked his boys what they wanted for Christmas.. they said a tractor run. Tom couldn’t do it alone so asked Julia what she thought. This was 1 week before Christmas and Julia said yeah let’s do it…

The first tractor run had 25 tractors and fundraising £1365.00 for The British Heart Foundation after Julia’s other half Chris Greenwood passed away suddenly from a heat attack.

2nd year again we fundraised for The British Heart Foundation. That year we had 65 tractors and raising £3419.42

3rd Year we changed the charity to a local one “Candlelighters” 152 tractors lit up the valley and raised a big £12.824.69

4th year we went big. Our route changed slightly and we included Walsden. The team worked incredibly hard to put this tractor run together. Due to a major issue 1 week before Xmas meant we had a big diversion via Littleborough and over Blackstone Edge and dropping down to Cragg Vale (worked out massively for us)
This year we had a massive 206 tractors, we also had over 60 volunteers including, traffic marshals, bucket collectors & es**rt drivers involved. Our charity this year was Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and our total so far is £35.174.95

See you all Christmas Eve 2025 for another spectacular tractor run. On behalf of the tractor run team who all play a massive part in organising this event… Julia, Lyndsey, Tom, Dan, Meg & Luke.

Can we give a big Thank you to all the other businesses behind the scenes that have helped in all different ways.
Next Level Dean Clough, CommsProvider, Nightjar, solutions on Moderna for the buckets, (Katie) on Bridgeroyd serving the drivers before the off, MPHClothing.co.ukfor providing CN Trading Ltd reduced costs on the Hi Vis. All of the countless road support vehicles on the night for keeping the run in motion - Daniel Shackleton from MPS installations ltd who keeps in communication before, during and after between them all.
The run would be impossible with out the full team and public support this year with the road closure, so Thank you to you all.
The team come from all different backgrounds and experience. Today is the big hand over to Forget Me Not Children's Hospice so watch out for our lovely smiley faces on pictures later.🤩🥳🚜🛻🚛🚜
