It’s always nice to see your work in print!
I was commissioned earlier in the year to complete some photographic work for Historic Environment Scotland and an article was published in their magazine.
They then contacted me again recently for another feature and this time I’ve made the front cover!
You can’t beat a bit of history and image making! 😊

Apologies for the complete lack of social media posts of late, it's busy season here at Angus & Amelia Photography with all our school shoots! I've taken on several more local (and not so local) schools this year and as always it's a great day or two of fun, smiles and fab portraits!

It was an honour to capture WWII veteran Dennis 'Spike' Jone's 100th birthday celebrations at Ardardan Farm Shop, Garden Nursery & Tearoom last week. Here he is pictured with the SSAFA Faslane In-service Team! You can read all about his life and achievements in this weeks Helensburgh Advertiser.

We've had a run of Dancers in the last week so Amelia wanted to pop into the studio today and get some shots in her new kilt! She's super excited for all the competitions lined up this year with Margaret Rose School of Dance! 😊

The cutest rainbow baby Lara. 🌈
I created this image along with Lara's parents to honour the journey they went through, the heartbreaking loss and the 400+ Heparin injections before their miracle baby was welcomed into this world just before Christmas last year.

Hello all! 🎉
Well I’ve been a bit quiet since the craziness of the Christmas sessions! Happy New Year all, I hope you’ve had a great start to the year (was January 75 days long or what!?!?) and your little ones had an amazing Christmas!
There’s a new product guide for 2024/25 with a few changes and I’ve already had some lovely little newborns in the last two weeks which was a great start to the year!

Having created Christmas images for over 250 families this year in the studio, on location and at events it has most definitely been a busy festive season but I have enjoyed every minute of it! 😊

Sometimes I can be serious… but where’s the fun in that 🤣
Last night I attended The Master Photographers Association Scottish Awards and was privileged to walk away with 9 Merit awards and 1 Award of Excellence for images taken from my studio work.
It’s always an honour to receive recognition for my work especially when judged by such prestigious names in the industry and to see my images amongst my peers who’s work I admire so much.
Congratulations to all from the night and it was amazing to see such a busy event and catch up with old friends and make new ones at the same time! 😊

It was 6 years ago the studio was built and I started working from here. What an a amazing 6 years it has been and there have been several changes over that time and lots of lovely people through the doors! Here’s to another 6 happy years of creating gorgeous memories 😊

I've photographed Max over the years ever since he was a newborn and it was lovely to meet his 2 week old baby brother this week and see the love between them both! They did amazing during their studio visit and it's always lovely to get a sibling shot! 🥰
