This week we are celebrating the Cornish Sporting Talent we have around the county.
After celebrating our athletes last week during our celebration evening, we wanted to share with you some of the athlete videos taken from the evening.
Leo Solly - Swimmer, from North Cornwall who is Nationally Ranked: 17th for 50m Butterfly, 20th 50m Freestyle, 33rd 50m Short Course Freestyle, 36th 50m Breaststroke and 40th 100m Breaststroke
GLL Sport Foundation see the importance of supporting athletes like Leo, to enable him to progress in his sport and compete at the highest level in his age group.

Thursday Evening 27th June - Cornwall's GLL Sport Foundation Celebration Evening - Callywith College.
Athletes including Bo Rason - Athletics / Pole Vaulter, attended an evening to celebrate their successes, and being a 2024 GLL Sport Foundation Supported Athlete.

Do you know about the water safety code, or what to do if you find yourself or someone else in trouble?
It is more important than ever with the warmer weather and summer holidays coming up to make sure you and your family are safe around the water and know what to do if they find them self in difficulty.
Remember to visit a lifeguarded beach and pool and make sure to follow the rules, they are there to keep you safe.

Academy (life saving and other skills) 5pm-5.45pm

Big Swim Weekend 24th-26th February
Come down to Helston Sports Centre between 24th and 26th February to show your support for our local pool, and hundreds of other pools like us, across the country.
Community swimming pools are really struggling with the current energy crisis and we need as much help and support to keep these valuable facilities open and accessible to all.
