Tonight's destination is The Athenaeum Club in Pall Mall. The Gold Statue above the entrance is of Athena the goddess of wisdom, who gave her name to the club.
The club was founded in 1824 with Sir Humphry Davy and Michael Faraday as chairman and secretary respectively.

The worshipful company of bakers hall. This dull red brick building was completed in 1960 and is the fourth hall to be built for the livery on this site since the 1500's. Ironically the first was destroyed in the Great Fire of London, caused by a Baker!

121 years separate these two vehicles!!
This James & Browne motor was built in Hammersmith in 1902 and is one of only two survivors of the argue. It has been owned by the City & Guilds college since 1934 and is still maintained by the students. It is a twin cylinder 4 speed set up with a top speed of 19 mph
The BMW was built in 2023, In Dingolfing Germany. It is a 6 cylinder 8 speed set up with a top speed of 152 mph.
