๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿธ *Memories* 27 years ago I practically lived at the JW Marriott in Dubai, they had a fantastic steakhouse and the bar speciality was a 'Dean' Martini, a triple gin martini with green olives stuffed with roquefort cheese ๐Ÿซถ

It was of course my second home. They had a tradition of putting a brass plaque with your name on the restaurant table when you were a regular. Mine was put on the bar and is still there today! A friend was there 12 years ago and photographed it! Ms Kate, never Mrs Rouse or Miss Ayres!!! Love it and wonder if it is still there!!!! The hotel is, but no longer a JW!

So deciding this morning that beautiful weather deserved a beautiful location we headed to a family favourite. A place my mother adored and where I had my 50th celebration. Lower Slaughter is just the most quintessential English village that inspired me to go into hospitality (long story.
