We've been looking at trends for 2024 so wanted to pop on and share what's hot for this years summer season.

Focusing on florals 🌸 🌺 🌹

Personally we have loved the elegance and simplicity of the green and white floral combination. However 2024 is shaping up to be more about bold colours and statement blooms.

Peach perfection is in for the more subtle colour scheme with popular blooms this year being ranunculus, dahlias, garden roses and of course peonies, my personal favourite.

But 2024 is all about popping pinks, furious fuscia, pinging purples, we are set for a colourful wedding season. We are even seeing both bright and burnt oranges returning to the tables. Get set with your centre pieces and inject joy with the boldest colours.

Posey arrangements are still very on trend for 2024. From a small mixture of flowers to one single stem making a statement, keep those glass jars to hand for a wonderful widespread display.

Have you ever wondered about the faces behind Stephanie Emma Catering?

Well here they are, albeit hiding as usual!

From left to right Pat, Cheryl and Stephanie.

Pat is a fully qualified fabulous chef and also mother to these two ladies, which I think makes her ultimately responsible for pretty much everything 😜

Cheryl is often found keeping Steph’s cogs turning in the background, in the office but also out on site. She also manages events, organised marquees, flowers, entertainment, and so much more.

Stephanie, is simply the talent behind every morsel of delicious food the leaves her kitchen. Cooked and presented to perfection.

What a 3 months we’ve had with Darkstar Events UK Glow Marwell
It takes years of planning, months of installing and weeks of testing to put on a light trail. And didn’t we do well.
Working outside from October - January on public events brings challenges you can’t control. It’s cold, it’s wet (very wet!), it’s windy and if you’re really lucky all 3 at the same time.
Finally, it’s a wrap and we can all hibernate for a little while.
Time for sleep 💤
