We created a beautiful picnic set up for our corporate client. They were entertaining 30 of their key clients and hosting them at Phyllis Court for Day 2 of Henley Regatta. By all reports they had a fabulous day and particularly enjoyed the grazing board platter with delicious food spread across two tables.

SUNSET DANCE
Imagine dancing the night away after a fabulous wedding with all your friends and family as the sun sets over the hills. That's exactly what W&K did at their wedding. The marquee was positioned to ensure everyone got the best view of the sunset, which made for a magical setting.

BESPOKE BARS
We do love a bespoke bar. W&K chose a bespoke fabric to complement their colour scheme, which was wrapped around the bar making it totally unique. Its a great way of adding personal touches to your wedding.

MAKE AN ENTRANCE
This stunning floral archway framed the entrance to the wedding ceremony marquee for guests to take their seats. At the end of each row another beautiful arrangement sat either side of the aisle. The marquee smelt divine with all the fresh flowers.

MAGICAL MOMENTS

There's something so special about saying your vows where you grew up. W&K did just that and were married at the grooms family home in a beautiful clear roof marquee, which overlooked the rolling hills of the Chilterns. It made for a very special wedding day.

INTERESTING FEATURES

When planning your wedding, remember to think about including some interesting features. These beautiful basket lights were hung from the ceiling of the marquee, surrounded by foliage to create a real focal point inside the wedding marquee. They looked stunning during both the day and night time celebrations.

INTRODUCTION

I can't believe a year has gone by since I posted a picture of myself on here. I tend to stay the other side of a camera, whilst I'm busy making sure everything goes smoothly and to plan for my clients.

So a very warm welcome to any new followers and a heartfelt thank you for all those who've been following me for a while.

I truly love what I do and am so proud to have created some incredible weddings, parties and events for my clients. I particularly enjoy seeing how I can bring a clients idea to life, coming up with a design concept and then weaving that through all the different elements of the event from the invitations, to the flowers and table design.

LET US ENTERTAIN YOU

We love nothing more than a reveal in a marquee to a space that guests aren't expecting and this one certainly didn't disappoint. You should have heard the gasps and "oh wow's" as the curtain went up on the after dinner entertainment area at a clients private party.

Everything about it was truly bespoke and was created especially for the client. From the circular dance floor and the gold & mirrored bar to the chill out area, it was an incredible surprise for the guests to dance the night away.

FINE DINING

We loved the exquisite details of the table settings at our clients recent birthday party. Mirror top tables reflected the stunning floral arrangements and delicate glassware, which set the scene for a beautiful dining experience.

All carefully designed and crafted to create fine dining at its best.

LIGHTING UP THE SKY

Spectacular lighting effects greeted guests on arrival at a private party we organised for a client. The scene changed from an ambient autumn palette as they arrived which was very gentle and calming, before switching to a more vibrant colour palette when the party started.

Not only could guests see the lighting on arrival, but they could also admire it from inside the marquee through the clear glass windows and roof, bringing the outside in.

BESPOKE DETAILS

Elevate a marquee space with bespoke details to make your party/wedding stand out.

This concert area was created within the marquee as an after dinner entertainment area where guests enjoyed a performance from a well known music artist, followed by a DJ so they could party into the small hours of the night.

The guests had no idea it was behind a reveal curtain so it was a great surprise when the curtain went up after dinner. I wish I could have captured the gasps of amazement! Bespoke soft seating was set around a circular dance floor and opposite the gold/mirror bar, with personalised lighting.

SIGNATURE COCKTAILS

Nothing screams party, like a cocktail reception.

On arrival, these lucky guests were treated to a selection of cocktails, including a Negroni, Classic Martini, Margarita and a Sidecar Coupette, all carefully crafted by an expert team of mixologists.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Everything about this table setting was considered. From the gold beaded charger plates which complemented the gold rim of the glassware and the gold frames of the chairs to the soft pink of the napkin which mirrored the flower arrangements. Everything was designed and considered to create the desired overall effect of fine dining at its best.

The design process is one of my favourite elements of party planning. I absolutely love thinking about how everything flows through the party and all ties in together in the most elegant fashion.

ABOUT A TRUCK

Anything is possible when you create bespoke events for clients. That was certainly the case for this spectacular birthday celebration we designed for our clients 40th birthday party.

As the theme was American country music, it seemed fitting to have an American Chevrolet truck as the centrepiece for the drinks/canape reception. It was the first thing that guests saw when they walked into the marquee and created quite the impact.

It took a lot of planning and precision to get the truck into the marquee at the right time so that everything else could be built around it. Nothing like a challenge!

EXQUISITE DETAILS

The perfect setting for an intimate dinner to celebrate a very special 40th birthday.

Careful consideration was given to each element of this gorgeous dining table for our client, to pick out their colour palette of gold, soft pink and pale blue. The end result was simply stunning, with the most spectacular crystal chandeliers suspended over each table which reflected in the mirrored table tops.

CREATING MEMORIES

The photos are in from a fabulous party I planned for a clients 40th birthday celebrations.

It was definitely one of the more challenging briefs I've had to work on - to mix American country music with English fine dining but I think we nailed it.

Guests entered the marquee and were greeted by a beautifully decorated Chevrolet as the centrepiece for the drinks & canape reception. They then headed through to a stunning dining area with huge crystal chandeliers hung over each mirror topped table. The final surprise was a concert area with a bespoke bar, dance floor and chill out area to enjoy the evening entertainment and to dance the night away with special lighting effects.

It took several months to design and plan this party and I couldn't have done it without an amazing team of perfectionists who all worked incredibly hard to pull off the most incredible party.

Its always a good idea to have a trial run with your chosen hair and make-up artist a few weeks before the wedding so that you can feel confident on your final look on your actual wedding day. You certainly don't want any surprises.
