Another Silent Disco booking made with these wonderful people. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Silent Discos are a new form of Music therapy. Its a tried and tested method of treatment across the world but in particular for those suffering with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Depression, Low Self-esteem and Anxiety.

The idea is to create a positive, fun experience using our headphones to recall memories, allowing residents to express themselves on a different level with staff and families. It helps participants momentarily forget the struggles in life the may be experiencing whilst potentially and unintentionally participating in exercise.

It's becoming a new craze across the country, particularly in care homes and the feedback from residents and staff has been amazing!

I'm sad to say that Woodrows availability ends at the end of October. So it's nearly time to zip up his doors, pull out his pegs and pack him away for the end of the season 😭.

'We loved our stay at Woodrow. The boys (5 and 7 years old) had a great time using the complimentary activities, climbing trees, sitting by the river and watching the sunset. We especially loved being so close with nature - we saw a massive hare! The bed was comfy and the lights at night made story time magical. Would most definitely stay again but would remember to take a stove/bbq next time!'
