A destination wedding feel with al fresco dining and the most stylish decor for Jennie and Nathan this July.

Originally the couple had hoped to dine open air but with the forecast mixed, we put up our canopy to provide a space that still felt outdoors but kept the weather away. The fold yard was in all its glory with lavender and cat mint in full force, foliage and vines abundant and the old stone walls providing a beautiful backdrop. Those glorious florals from and the incredibly elegant styling by bride Jennie were perfect for this wonderful couples’ day. And the food by - gorgeous as ever.

A venue as unique as you are.

At Broadfield we only host a select amount of weddings a year. Why? Because every wedding truly is so different. All of our couples have different visions, different needs, different things that are special to them, and we work hard to make all of these things happen.

Also, we only hold a select number because we are a family business and we are involved in every single wedding from the first enquiry to the big day.

We don’t have packages, you aren’t tied to suppliers, you can choose any space at Broadfield for any part of your day. We will try very hard to make your day the truest celebration of you two.

However, some things are the same. Properly exclusive use, always for two nights, and it can be for more. No coming in as another couple leaves, no rush. We want you to settle in and call Broadfield your home while you’re with us.

Our socials are just a glimpse into our weddings and their glorious uniqueness, but if you want to know more, just get in touch.

We knew Jennie and Nathan’s day was going to be special but it truly blew us away.

The thought, care and love this couple took to create the most magical day for them and their guests was a joy to see. A day that revealed itself bit by glorious bit, from the orchard ceremony to drinks on the terrace to al fresco dining in the fold yard and then the luxe evening party, it truly was wonderful.

Bring on the bubbles! Lucy and Joel gave some of their wedding party bubble guns for the confetti walk, and it added a whole other layer of joy to the moment. Smiles all around as those bubbles danced up into the sunny skies. Definitely a moment we hope to see again 🤍

This weekend our lovely groom told us his one piece of feedback was that we should shout about ourselves more. Feedback that is very nice to hear but feels very unnatural to do. However, here goes…

- Broadfield is very much a family business. Both generations - John and Helen, Frances and Alex - are involved every single day in every aspect, although (probably wisely) we all have our own roles. We have a third generation waiting in the wings too
- From the first enquiry to the first viewing to booking, then to (unlimited) planning meetings, open days, visits with family and friends, then to the wedding weekend and day itself, it is us you will see - we are with you every step of the way and we really do miss you afterwards
- While we are the ones you’ll see, we also do the day to day jobs behind the scenes, whether it be keeping in touch with all your suppliers (Helen and Frances), making sure the bar is well stocked (Alex), making up all the fires (John), to fixing, sorting, cleaning, organising, planning and all the other bazillion jobs behind a small family business, we are kept very busy. But here there’s also a huge shout out to our fantastic gardener Mark, and our brilliant housekeeping and wedding day teams, without whom Broadfield would not be the same.

So when you pick Broadfield, you also get us, and we promise we will do everything to make the most special of days everything you want it to be.

And thank you, Nathan, for the feedback (and to you and Jennie for picking us!) 🤍

Introducing our brand new fold yard canopy, enabling our couples to enjoy this beautiful space whether sun or rain. Perfect for ceremonies or even for al fresco dining, we can’t wait to see some gorgeous celebrations under its roof 🤍

Ceremonies can take place for up to 150, and we can even add sides if we need to. A truly versatile space that doesn’t compromise its surroundings. And of course, for couples keen to use the fold yard without cover or with a different structure in there, they absolutely still can.

We always say it, but there are so few jobs like it - where the sole purpose is for people to be at their happiest. Not every day is easy or glamorous or sparkly, but so many days are wonderful and words like these make them even more so.

Oh Olivia and George, you beautiful humans!

With three years from booking to the big day, it was such an incredible pleasure to get to know this gorgeous pair who married with us on 1st June. A day of such love, happiness and fun, and with so many thoughtful touches and details. Saying goodbye the day after the wedding was emotional all round, but we wish these two (and the incredible Reef and River) the absolute best future, and thankfully they’ve promised to come back to see us.

The wonderful captured the day so brilliantly that we shall be sharing many more images from this day.

What. A. Day. The utterly gorgeous wedding of Sarah and David. So much love, emotion and incredibly good vibes from start to finish. What really stood out to us about this couple’s day was their focus on including and celebrating their family and friends in every possible way, and the love and commitment their family and friends showed back.
