In these grey and uncertain times we believe that nothing brightens up a wall or a sideboard better than colourful, bright and fun photographs of children – especially if you’re not allowed to see them in person right now. Quirky Photography has been borne out of a desire to make children’s photography cheerful, afforda

ble and easy to access, coupled with a need to find new ways to work in order to maintain a viable business in the ever-changing covid landscape of 2020. Quirky Photography is run by renowned local photographer Lisa Marie Gee, who in 2018 had a celebrated portrait exhibition, Open Shutters, at Gallery Oldham. Whilst being closed under covid lockdown, Lisa took the decision to go back to her first photographic love - children's portraiture. Quirky Photography is a children’s portrait photography studio above Quercus Home Furniture in Bury's Mill Gate Centre. The studio offers traditional and themed photoshoots for children of all ages, including newborns. Throughout the year we have a series of themed sets built ready for your little ones to be photographed on. Mini photoshoots are available outside of school hours. If you need your images in a hurry they can be available in as little as an hour – perfect for a last-minute gift for grandparents, aunties and uncles. We keep things as simple as possible, offering 8in x 6in prints to take away or instant downloads of digital files. Larger prints and other wall art is available to order by request.

My favourite job of the year :)

What a day!!! Thank you so much to everyone who came to our fabulous Breakfast with Santa event (and braved storm Darragh in the process! ⛈️)

We had another brilliant year - it was so lovely to see so many familiar faces from last year, plus some of the incredible VIC’s (very important children) from the last trip and lots of lovely new faces too!

Photoshoot Parties with Personality

Pamper and Pose is a party business with a difference. All of our parties revolve around a professional photoshoot.

Our Pamper and Pose Photoshoot Pamper Parties are what we are best known for. Suitable for absolutely all ages, they combine professional pampering with a full studio photoshoot. Come to Studio G, our fantastic photography studio and party venue in Oldham, offering a variety of backgrounds and props to suit any theme. Or, we may be able to come to your hired venue or hall, fully equipped with a mobile photography studio, set everything up and take it all down again afterwards.

One of our most popular packages at the moment is our Pop Diva Girl Band party, but whether it is a fairy princess themed party with a bit of gloss and glitter, a teen party with a fashion model theme, a fairy craft party or a vintage hen party, we adapt the formula to suit you. The basic package includes a makeover for each guest and a full portrait photoshoot, individually and as a group.

After the party the photographs are all processed and put into an online gallery that can be password protected. The party girls will be given access to the gallery, from where they can download a group photo, or share any of the images on social media. Prints, canvas or block prints, photo gifts and digital files can be ordered online and sent straight to your door. And every Pamper and Pose photoshoot pamper party now includes the option to buy a smartphone app or film slideshow of your party that can be shared with your friends and posted on social media websites. High definition DVDs of your film can be purchased.
