VENUE
Parkgate Mx Hospital Road Maidstone ME17 1QG
This Event is 3 hours Straight Through 1.5 hours Youth
There will be signs and orange arrows at entrance to the venue. Post Code: ME17 1QG
COURSE
Open Fields woodland mx track. Route will be marked with orange arrows and red/white tape.
PARKING
Please park with consideration to others.
SIGNING ON
Riders are to sign on AFTER Machine Examination which commences 8am and closes at 10am for adults.
BLACK/YELLOW OR BLUE TAPE OR BLUE ROPE
Single file, no overtaking, WALKING PACE ONLY. BE PREPARED TO STOP IF DIRECTED BY MARSHAL, Penalty for ignoring this will be exclusion!
LAP SCORING
Wrist band transponder, it is the riders responsibility to swipe at the start of the race and then at the end of every lap completed, do not swipe outside of your designated race time, do not attempt to swipe when leaving the pits after refueling, miswipes will not be counted as laps, if you suspect your transponder is faulty inform race control *** do not test your transponder unless accompanied by event secretary.
Results will be posted within 8 days of the event due other commitments.
Overtime penalties will be used at this event 3pts per minute late deducted.
MACHINE EXAMINATION
Riders should present their Machines with numbers on all number panels as in front and both sides and helmets for Examination and leave in parc ferme before signing on if you remove machine from parc ferme at any time you will be deemed to have retired and will get a DNF.
HELMETS
Must comply with current AMCA approved standards, ACU approval is not applicable.
NUMBERS
Must be displayed clearly at least on the front, both sides of the machine as well preferably. If no number on front you will not be allowed to start sighting lap.
LIGHTS
Working lights are not required for this event.
NOISE
No noisy bikes please. The Clerk of the Course or any nominated official can and will exclude excessively noisy machines at any time during the event. Please ensure your tail pipe is well packed, your exhaust is in good condition and that all springs and fasteners are in place and secure.
SIGHTING LAP
For this event the adult race will start after a sighting lap immediately before the start following a marshall there will be no overtaking, this will allow every rider to see how the track is set out and prevent course cutting, we will have cameras around the track at specific points.
The Clerk of the Course or any nominated official can and will exclude excessively noisy machines at any time during the event. Please ensure your tail pipe is well packed, your exhaust is in good condition and that all springs and fasteners are in place and secure.
TYRES
No restrictions, any tyre may be used.
INSURANCE
All Chiltern Hills Enduro Club events run under AMCA rules.
RIDERS BRIEFING
There will be a riders briefing at 09:15hrs for Youth riders, 11.15 for Adults β ALL RIDERS MUST ATTEND. Immediately after this briefing, engines may be warmed up for approx. 2 minutes.
START
The start is a dead engine start will be 9:30am for youth, 11:30am for all other classes.
FINISH
At 11:00 for Youth, 14:30 the track close.
NO RIDING to and from your van under any circumstance except quads VERY SLOW walking pace we are watching.
REFUELING
Will only be allowed in the official refueling area. Environmental Mats are advised when refueling. Walking pace only in the refueling area. Failure to comply will result in immediate exclusion. 1 Pit crew may assist their riders, but under no circumstances are children or pets to enter this area. All riders must have a suitable fire extinguisher to hand when refueling. NO RIDING TO YOUR VAN YOU MUST WALK ONLY.
ACCIDENTS
Injuries should be reported to the clerk of the course before leaving the venue.
REFRESHMENTS
Hot food and drinks will be available throughout the event from βThe breakfast vanβ.
SMOKING
No smoking in the pits.
COURSE CUTTING
Anyone found deliberately cutting the course unless directed by a marshal will be excluded from the event and future events.
Marshals
Are there for your safety and those around you, you must follow their instructions and we will not accept any abuse of Marshals, failure to comply will result in exclusion. We will have cameras recording to identify cheats so be warned behavior, foul and abusive, threatening behavior while at one of our events you will be asked to leave and will be removed from the results the penalty for unsporting behavior is immediate exclusion.
NO Pressure washers, if caught using one you will be excluded from results.
