Sometimes in life, the places on your bucket list just don’t come to the top of the list.
I am so lucky to have two daughters who make sure that does not happen. I have always wanted to go to New York and Kat and Charlie made sure that it would happen, then Mary thought, 4 days away with just the four of us would be great fun. You don’t need travel agents when the girls are on the case and tours, theatre seats and trips round Central Park were booked. I was able to book two courses with New York Photo Safari to photograph the icons of New York.

This was the most magical trip with my girls packing so much in, Macy’s parade, 5 Avenue, Central Park, Radio City, Little Italy, Ground Zero, The Freedom Tower, Ellens Stardust Diner, The Lego Store, and more. I was looked after by my girls who wanted to ensure I was not worn out so would enjoy my Photo Safari, which worked.

The Airbnb was so well situated 10 mins from Grand Central Terminal, so good for walking all over town.

I cannot thank my girls for putting up with my photography, showing me so many parts of New York and ensuring we spent the time laughing, eating and having fun. A trip that I will not forget and so grateful to be able to fill so many fab memories with the family. Love you all, Mary, Kat and Charlie.

I would not mess with Ivy Huxley as she brings this to her shoots! Such a delight to work with but need to keep the lid on the jaffa cakes. 6 looks in a shoot and we did not rush.
