Asake // Lungu Boy USA-UK-EU Tour 2024

With so much to talk about from an amazing 2024, we’re back on the - this time with a look back to last autumn, which saw coordinating lighting, rigging, and video requirements in the USA – then supplying in the UK and Europe for Asake’s first full arena tour, following a number of festival shows over the summer.

Having worked with the Asake team since his first show in the UK back in 2023, Siyan’s Tom Grant was asked to lead the Stage & Lighting design process for this latest campaign - working alongside the artist's creative directors Abi & Tunde Babalola from Phoenix Touring, as well as SFX designer Amrit Natt, to curate a cohesive, high-visual-impact production.

As part of a complete service, Siyan supplied a range of rental inventory products, including Martin Mac Ultra and PXL washes, which formed the backbone of the lighting rig - and on the personnel side, Lighting programming duties for the campaign were split between Matt Child from ArtDpt and lighting director Harry Bilney. This comprehensive approach enabled seamless ex*****on of the vision, combining creative design with industry-leading equipment.

This project also gave us the chance to work with some great suppliers including MistFX, Encore PA, with Rigging Team supplying the performer flying elements at the O2.
Rounding off the excellent collaboration, was USA-based operator Logan Torres who brought onboard for the entire tour to look after the show on the road, alongside Tour & Stage Manager Mark Kwame.

NAS // 30 years of Illmatic Tour

Kicking off 2025’s social media coverage with us featuring in January’s edition of TPi Magazine, reflecting on our work last autumn with Tour Director Charlie Bradshaw & Production Manager Tom Bielby for NAS’s latest tour, held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of his iconic album ‘Illmatic’.

Tasked with bringing the visual creative by production designer Brian Spett from Go Houselights LLC to life - we supplied lighting, video and rigging throughout the entire tour spanning the length and breadth of mainland Europe and the UK, finishing up at London’s Royal Albert Hall complete with a whole load of 'big London show' extras - as detailed in the TPi article!

It was a real pleasure to be back working with Charlie and Tom after we met on a previous tour together in 2023, as well as meeting Brian and his team this time round - we’re already looking forward to the next collaboration.

Davis Cup // ‘The World Cup of Tennis’

Its not all live music for – over the past few years we’ve been working on an ever increasing volume of sports event work, spanning the worlds of Basketball, Netball, Boxing and Tennis. These events present more varied challenges for our team, often including requirements from the broadcasts teams and sporting bodies, in addition to the live element!

Back in September, we were honoured to be asked back for a second year to work on the Davis Cup for live sports production agency Elev8 – deploying this expertise by supplying lighting which and rigging, as well as coordinating with audio supplier Southby Productions, for a joined up production solution.

A big thanks to event producers (and Elev8 founders) Danny Allen and Katy Preston for asking us back - We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with them both on a number of projects over many years and we look forward to watching this relationship our two businesses continue to grow even further!

Nines // The Final Show @ The O2

The lead up to Christmas see’s us continue the with a look back to late November - supplying lighting and rigging for Nines at the O2 Arena, on his final ever live performance!

This historic show saw us back working with longtime client, lighting designer Dan Robinson - alongside production manager Aaron Booth and tour & creative director Shaun Bartlett from Tour Management Executive - who collectively formed this high impact design featuring 427x fixtures of various brands in our rental inventory, 120x points of rigging across all departments, a 6t capacity Kinesys system for the Bstage screen and lighting… and a (real) tractor onstage!

Big thanks to the team for bringing us onboard and trusting us to deliver such a major project - and an equally big thanks to our fellow suppliers onsite: 4wall Video, OX Event House, 22Live and ER Productions, for their professional and collaborative mindset, to deliver a great production.

The Snuts // OVO Hydro Glasgow

Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of working with the incredible team of Show & Lighting Designer Jack Fone and Tour Manager Gary Williamson, on The Snuts’ headline tours and festival appearances across the UK and Europe. From supplying lighting and video to supporting the creative and production vision, it’s been an unforgettable journey.

When the band took the stage for their biggest show to date at Glasgow’s iconic OVO Hydro arena, we were deeply honoured to be part of the moment too. We helped bring Jack’s design to life, supplying all lighting and rigging elements, alongside two massive 15m x 8m LED screens – working alongside fellow Snuts production suppliers FE Live (Audio), 21CC Group Ltd (SFX) and LMG Touring (Cameras).

The Hydro show brought together an exceptional team of personnel, including Production Manager Graeme Richmond, Stage Manager Archie Brewis-Lawes, plus Jack’s talented lighting and video programmers, Ben Riley and Lewis Jones.
On all fronts it was a masterclass in seamless collaboration on a massive scale, all with no production rehearsals or build day!

It’s been an incredible experience to play a role in The Snuts’ journey so far, and we can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store for this amazing team. Here’s to more unforgettable moments ahead 👏

The season of nominations continues and we’re honoured to be recognised by the Festival Supplier Awards - with us being shortlisted in the ‘Best Lighting, Sound & Video’ supplier category, after another fantastic summer which saw us supply festivals such as Glastonbury (Other Stage & Woodsies) Wireless Festival, Radio1 Big Weekend, Reading & Leeds, Radio 2 in the Park and many more..

This one is especially significant for us, with Festivals being one of our most key markets. We pride ourselves on delivering well planned and flexible systems to every festival we work on and building a reputation for being one of the most friendly and helpful house teams on the circuit.. something we’re regularly reminded of in client feedback.

A big thanks to our clients who wrote such wonderful testimonials about us to help secure our nomination - we’re really proud of this one, so keep your fingers crossed for us on the 30th January, when will be in the room and hoping to pickup the award!

TEMS // ‘Born in the Wild’ in London & Paris

We’re back on the – looking back to the start of this summer when worked with lighting designer James Scott from Suluko to help debut this stunningly harmonious lighting and production design at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith and L'Olympia in Paris - before it travelled around the US (supplied by our friends at Christie Lites) and festivals worldwide.

Portman P2 Hexaline's formed the core of James’ rig design (72x to be precise!) as well as similarly impactful quantities of GLP JDC1, Martin Mac Ultra, Aura PXL, Aura XIP and Mac One with Robe Megapointe fixtures completing the fixture spec in this expansive overhead and floor based system.

A big thanks to production manager Charlie Leonard, tour manager Trevor Williams & assistant tour manager Janelle Fraser, from TML Worldwide for bringing us onboard and all the support!

Palaye Royale // Death Or Glory @ OVO Arena Wembley

Visiting ‘Wembley Arena’ is always a pleasure for and our latest trip was no exception - with us being entrusted by Palaye Royale production manager Tomáš Jungvirt and designer Jan Ploner, to supply them with a joined up lighting, video and rigging solution for the bands biggest-ever European headline show!

Working with Jan to bring his design to life was an easy process with us supplying a diverse range of fixtures tailored to Jan's spec, including Martin Mac ONE, Ayrton Eurus Profile, and GLP JDC1, ensuring every slot was perfectly equipped.

IMAG was another key element in his design with three massive 6m-high screens flown above the stage, highlighting the three brothers who front the band. These were fed by a four-channel camera system, with visuals processed through a Resolume system to add dynamic treatment that aligned with Jan’s lighting.

10CC // “Ultimate Ultimate” Greatest Hits Tour

We get to collaborate with all sorts of amazing clients, but it’s always especially meaningful when we work with some of our longest-standing industry friends—like designer Rowan Norris!

Having worked with Rowan since ‘the early days’ of Siyan, we’ve supported him regularly in the past few years on various touring projects with legendary band 10CC – most recently again as they completed their latest UK full production tour, where his role evolved to include full Production Design.

Similarly our scope of involvement also increased, this time seeing us work alongside his Crew Chief Andrew Bonnar, touring through theatres and concert halls with a 10m wide LED screen, in addition to a complete lighting package containing Robe Megapointe, Martin Mac Aura XIP + VDO Fatron20 and ChromaQ Colorforce Mk2 72 units, all of which was triggered by Rowan from his Avolites T3 console system.

As the team head off to Scandinavia for the next leg of the tour with a punchy floor package courtesy of – we wish to say a big thanks to him for his continued friendship and business!

Reneé Rapp // Snow Hard Feelings - UK & European Tour

Taking it back to spring of this year in today’s , when Reneé launched her biggest tour around Europe to date – with brought on to provide lighting and LED screen!

Award-winning lighting designer James Scott from .ltd together with creative directors Bronski & Amber Rimell from@tawbox crafted an unforgettable production experience, with lighting technology supplied to match - including our new Martin Professional Mac ONE units - central to James’ design.

The rig was further enhanced with Ayrton Eurus & Diablo, Mac Aura PXL, Acme Pixel Line IP, and a 3-point Robe robospot system to showcase Reneé in the best light, with an imposing square upstage LED wall rounding out the visual elements.

Lizzy McAlpine // The Older Tour UK & EU 2024

A big thanks to Mike “Mac" McAree and Anna Griffin from full service touring company for bringing onboard for this Lizzy’s latest tour, where we supplied lighting for a wonderfully intimate design by Black Lantern Creative and operated by Aaron Sweatt.

With the tour visiting a mix of venues across the UK and Europe, additionally we also supplied a flown lighting system as well as a multicamera IMAG package and LED screen for Lizzy’s two shows at Hammersmith Apollo.

Adriatique Present X London Halloween

This past weekend, had the privilege of supporting Labyrinth Events on one of their most ambitious productions to date, featuring the renowned Swiss electronic duo Adriatique at London’s OVO Arena Wembley.

Following a busy season collaborating with Labyrinth at multiple events at the Roundhouse in Camden, we were honoured to be asked by their production management team at ARTDPT, to supply lighting and kinesys automation for this exceptional production, carefully crafted by creative directors HangerCreates and lighting designer Elliott Mountford of Ti22 Design.

Cedric Duré from More To Show, expertly handled FOH programming, ensuring precision across all aspects of the lighting design – and as with any large-scale event, success was a collaborative achievement with our brilliant team onsite working closely with Labyrinth’s valued partners, including Creative Technology, UK Rigging, and BPM SFX, to bring this show to life seamlessly.

Pendulum Live // UK Arena Tour 2024

Taking another trip down lane, when back in late March we were thrilled to be called up by the Pendulum production team to work on their biggest tour since the band’s comeback, with us proudly supplying lighting and rigging equipment.

As ever it was a pleasure to work with our friends at , who once again delivered an incredible production and lighting design - building on the epic show that premiered in 2023 at Ally Pally.

Big thanks to our crew for delivering another smooth tour, which saw us working alongside ER Productions supplying Lasers to expertly complement lighting, programmed and operated on the road by LD Ben Inskip.

Scorpions // Love At First Sting 2024

Next stop on our journey takes us back to June when we supported LD Manfred Nikitser and his live production requirements for legendary German hard rock band Scorpions!

Featuring an equally heavy lighting and video spec - we supplied an array of rock solid brand fixtures, including Martin Mac Ultra Performance, Robe Megapointe and BMFL Washbeam, GLP JDC1 and Roxx Cluster B4FC – along with large format LED solution made up of an 18m by 9m upstage wall of LED and 2x 5m by 6.5m IMAGs, displaying cameras and media content fed from Scorpions own video system.

This was another collaborative effort with also overseeing production rigging for all departments, having a great time as always working onsite with our friends Encore Sounds supplying PA and Ox Event House looking after main staging requirements.

RAYE // 'My 21st Century Symphony' Live @ The O2 Arena

to earlier this year, working closely with Raye's visual design team of Mandylights and production director Pete Clements from Moomba Productions on her first headline show at the O2.

With high expectations following her recent Brits success, Mandylights and Pete worked to scale up the previous Royal Albert Hall production, to suit this new bigger venue, with once again supplying lighting, as well as LED screens, cameras, and rigging across all departments in support of this evolved creative vision.
We’d also like to show our appreciation for the collaborative approach taken by other returning vendors including oxeventhouse, Solotech UK Group and BPM SFX, who we worked onsite with to deliver the various integrated elements in this design.

This was just one of many highlights that we're excited to share following a whirlwind spring and summer - the continues over the coming weeks and months!
