Friday brought the perfect break from the week’s storms, and what better way to celebrate than by exploring a forest with Abi and Alex? These two absolutely adore the great outdoors, so we fully embraced the adventure. At one point, we found ourselves trekking up a hill through the brush, chasing that magical light streaming through the treetops. It was one of those moments where nature and photography just clicked—pun intended!

Doggo’s at weddings , yes, please! 🫶

Including your furry best friend in your wedding? 🐕✨

I can’t get enough of those adorable moments—like a doggy ring bearer or a pup cheering you on at the aisle—more and more venues are opening their arms (and hearts) to welcome dogs. Honestly, it’s a trend I am completely obsessed with! 🥹💖

Here’s the thing, though: not all venues allow dogs and it’s usually for a good reason. It’s often about the surrounding area, like farmland with livestock, protected wildlife, or other factors that make it not easy to have our four-legged friends around. It’s never, though, about not loving dogs — most venue staff would happily cuddle them all day, trust me!

If having your dog at your wedding is a must, then talk to your venue early on and let’s plan some paws-itively perfect moments together. And hey, if your venue can’t accommodate, don’t worry! We can always arrange a pre-wedding shoot to capture you and your pup. 🐾📸

A few firsts for me too: a remote-controlled car zooming down the aisle to deliver the rings 🚗💍 (genius!), a groom who really loved showing off his six-pack 😅, and shooting a wedding in an old courthouse—how cool was that?! ⚖️

Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Lauren and Tristan’s intimate wedding, and wow, what a day it was! 🌸✨

It was such a lovely affair—beautifully simple, yet so full of meaning. These two truly showed that it’s not about how big the celebration is, but about celebrating the right way—with the people who matter most. 🥂💍

And that’s me officially on a break until after Christmas! 🎄✨ But don’t worry, I’ll be back for one last hurrah with my final wedding of the year before we wrap up 2024. 🎉

🚨 Storm? What storm? 🌪️

Rea absolutely blew me away today—not just with her wedding dress (which was stunning, by the way) but with how she stayed so calm, cool, and collected when the day threw an unexpected curveball. ✨

When the news came that the wedding couldn’t really go beyond the reception drinks, she handled it like an absolute queen. 👑 Talk about grace under pressure!
