Tonight at the Green Rooms we are celebrating the life of Colin Williams with his friends and family .
The guests are being treated to Chicken tikka masala , Chilli con carne, Rice and Naan Breads and they will be dancing to the sounds of Leicester based band The Anthemics.

What a fantastic weekend we've had so far here at the Green Rooms.
Starting with Friday night where we hosted the Hinckley Lodge of Installed Masters Burns Night supper.
Dining on a menu of C**k a Leekie Soup , Haggis Neeps and Tatties and finished off with a lovely Cranachan.
So many lovely comments on the food and the whole events.
Saturday has seen us host another Burns Supper this time at Lunchtime for the Hinckley Scottish Society where they had four courses, c**k a Leekie Soup, haggis neeps and Tatties , Roast Beef and finished with Apple and Raspberry Crumble.
Sadly it looks like this will be their last one with us after 13 years due to dwindling numbers 😞
And it doesn't slow Down as we host Bills 70th Birthday this evening with a lovely Buffet and Cheese and Pate Boards.
Feeling good about all the positive comments ☺️☺️

Tonight Green Room Caterers were at Dalecote House in Coventry to provide a fine meal for the Fellowship of Drapers.
A five course menu consisting of -
To start
Ham Hock Terrine with Bistro salad .........
Fish Course
Potted Salmon and Prawn .........
Main course
Chicken Balmoral with Whiskey sauce, on. Bed of carrot and swede mash , Tender stem broccoli and Fondant Potato..........
Dessert
Salted Caramel Pot with a shortbread Finger
Finished off with a fine selection of English Cheeses and Crackers.

So many positive comments and enjoyed by all 😊

This afternoon saw the presentation of a fantastic sum of £8000 presented to the Guide Dogs for the Blind from the joint fundraising efforts of the members of the Knight of Malta Lodge number 30 RAM and Echills Wood Railway .
This was the chosen charity by Worshipful Master Jim Driver and his good lady Helen Driver .

Tonight we welcomed the Brethren and their wives to St Simon and St Jude’s ladies evening at The Green Rooms, to raise funds for guide dogs for the blind. They dined on a menu of Melon and Parma Ham to start, followed by Braised Beef with Baby Onions in a Red Wine Jus. For Dessert, a luscious Lemon Tart and the evening was finished with a fine selection of cheeses, coffee and after dinner mints. They danced the night away to the sounds of Dean Thomas (The Sounds of Swing).

Last weekend we hosted the wedding of Tim and Suzette Reynolds.
Their choice of theme was a very light blue kept simple but elegant.
After their sherry drinks reception they dined on Supreme of Chicken stuffed with Crabmeat in a Chardonnay sauce or Salmon and Prawn en Croute followed by profiteroles with Orange cream and Dark Chocolate sauce or Apple, Cinnamon and Sultana crumble .
The evening guests danced the night away with DJ Ian Kyle and dined on our traditional buffet.
Thank you for trusting us with your special day and good luck for the future.

On the 31st of August we hosted the wedding of Alice and Billy Averall here at the Green Rooms and what a stunning set up it was.
The theme was dusky pink and sage and along with our own decor we were joined by the girls from The Rustic Corner wedding decor specialists to enhance the room further.
As you can see from the photos it looked amazing.
They arrived to a prosecco reception and canapés, then dined on on a wedding breakfast of duo of Pates, Tomato and basil soup or Traditional Prawn C**ktail followed by Roast chicken supreme or Roast Topside of beef and finished off with Alice's favourite Apple and Mars bar crumble or Strawberry and White Chocolate Cheesecake 😋
The evening guests were treated to one of our fabulous hog roasts.

This weekend we hosted the 70th birthday for the lovely Rose Daniels, She had chosen a pink and silver theme for the room and they dined on a duo of pates with herb salad followed by a supreme of Chicken with a Thyme and Orange Sauce with Lovely fresh carrots and potatoes from Poplars Farm .
