The Regent is an historical landmark, designed in 1927 by architect Mr Horace G Bradley, contracted by G.E and W.Wincott of Nuneaton in 1929. Designed to meet requirements of a rapidly growing and progressive district. To be a house of amusements of stage plays, orchestral and cinema. From "The Regent" to "The Goumont" (1955), "The Vogue" (1968), then later "Rainbow Bingo" and finally "Flutters",

closing in 2013. A fact that may come as a surprise to some, is that The Regent has had a huge following for many years. Known as the "Save The Regent Campaign", to which actually managed to save the foyaye of the building. The Regent is a new wine bar and vintage art deco tea, coffee shop, serving the Midlands and throughout. Where all can come to relax, feel at home and socialise. With the possibility of purchasing on site artefacts trading as a store and market. Open 7 days a week, 10:00am until late. This is what we have managed to renovate, rejuvenate and restore so far. And we hope to see you down here soon.
