Our Story

Welcome to the The Farmhouse at Redcoats, a family-owned 2AA rosette restaurant and 4AA star hotel with a focus on farm-to-fork food and friendly service.

Our 15th century farmhouse has some stories to tell. Quirky details, historic features and stylish interiors make for a memorable stay, whilst the surrounding beautiful Hertfordshire countryside allows you to explore. We’re a home from home, a stone’s throw from London, so come and experience our warm welcome for yourself.

Farm-to Fork

We source produce from nearby farmers, game from the best local shoots and the freshest seafood from North Norfolk fishermen and combined them with homegrown fruit and veg, foraged finds and the honey from our very own beehives - all under the watchful eye of Executive chef Sherwin Jacobs.
