Taking photos has always been a passion of mine but when I had my first son the amount of photographs I was taking multiplied significantly! I decided to take it to the next level and learn how to use a camera properly and how to take good photos. It was during my pregnancy that I first discovered newborn photography and when my son was born I took him to a local photographer to have professional

Hi everyone!

Well, it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted on here. I am really sorry for the radio silence. I’ve recently gone through some major changes in my personal life and decided to take some time away from my photography business to focus on myself and my family. I am happy to say that things are starting to settle down and we are adjusting to our new normal. I am now hoping to dust off my camera and get ready for some baby cuddles once again!

I have moved house, but only up the road! And I have space for a small studio set up, perfect for newborns only at this stage.

If you are having a baby soon or know someone who is and are interested in a newborn photo shoot please pop me a message.

I can’t wait to meet some more gorgeous babies and get my business back up and running once again.

Happy new year everyone! I hope you’re all off to a fantastic start to 2023!

The past 12 months or so have been pretty tough for myself and my family which unfortunately has meant that I had to take a step back from my photography business. I have really missed my camera and all the beautiful babies and I am now hoping to reboot my business. 🥳 I am sticking to what I love for the time being which is newborns and babies within their first year. If you have an exciting arrival due soon or you know someone who does, please keep me in mind for your photo shoot and drop me a message if you’d like some more information.

Hello!

I hope you lovely lot are all doing well! I am so sorry I've been off the grid a bit lately, it's been a strange year and I've been completely swept up in a whirlwind of family life and house renovations with a side of self doubt and soul searching thrown in for good measure! Life can be very challenging at times but one thing I am sure of is how much I love my camera and being able to capture precious memories, not just for myself but for other people as well! I am therefore very excited to say that from August I am back in business, all systems go!!

I can't wait to meet lots of beautiful babies, elves and maybe even some fur babies(!) and to see what exciting adventures are still to come for Donna Foote Photography!

These photos are from a session last month where I was lucky enough to meet this little guy twice. The first time he had a serious case of FOMO and obviously thought it was all much too interesting to sleep through! Little James here definitely made me feel broody! Such a sweet little face he has!

Just 1 week old at his photo shoot last week. He was the perfect little model, so sleepy and relaxed which made my job very easy.

Big sister Eva came along to the session and was amazing with her baby brother, such a lovely bond they have already.

Our Story

Taking photos has always been a passion of mine but when I had my first little boy the amount of photographs I was taking multiplied significantly! I decided to take it to the next level and learn how to use a camera properly and how to take good photos. It was during my pregnancy that I first discovered newborn photography and when my son was born I took him to a local photographer to have professional newborn photographs taken. I remember thinking I would love to be able to do this. Around the time of my son's first birthday I decided that newborn photography is something I would love to do and I have been researching it and studying ever since! I have also adopted a new motto which my husband reminds me of every time I need encouragement or a confidence boost: 'The only person standing in your way is you' So, I decided to give it a shot! I have now been on a number of newborn and baby specific training courses which were run by some of the industries leading Photographers. I am constantly looking for ways to improve and progress and learn best techniques for posing babies safely.
