Wow! Reflecting on a Summer filled with lots of shows and musical theatre activities for Eliza. She was lucky enough to get a role .lyceum Summer Youth Project in Bugsy Malone and loved every minute of it. Was an amazing performance and we can’t wait to hopefully be a part of the next show. She’d also loved her time with for their Wicked Musical performance in a week, ballet intensive with and days. Just a few more days until a fresh term starts. Eliza, with a renewed confidence will be heading into yr 5 & more performances coming soon with too!

Monday was spent enjoying .vam and a day out in London. Took the train from Harlow and spent most of the day there- daughter was keen to see the Manga exhibition. Enjoyed reminiscing and seeing my old childhood toys and watching the children play- great mix of interactivity and things to see. Enjoyed the local park and stopped for an aperol spritz before we headed back. &A

Wow a jam packed start to the summer holidays (part 1). Enjoyed 2 theatre shows and , celebrated Eliza’s 9th birthday at her cousins - all Wednesday themed of course! Enjoyed yummy dim sum and escaped from Harry Potter escape room/ scavenger hunt that I set up for the children. The sun even managed to make an appearance!

Happy almost birthday to my special daughter! Jam packed weekend with dance rehearsals culminating in a Wednesday/ Harry Potter themed party at the perfect with potion making, Harry Potter quiz and escape room that I’d found online & dancing. Huge thank you for hosting us! Beautiful cake from as always. Thank you for party bags from which were ideal!

About me!

My resolution for 2020 is to reduce single-use plastic waste and consider more eco-friendly alternatives. I was shocked by how much waste we produced from Christmas, especially all the plastic packaging from my daughter’s toys. After doing some research I came across the Party Kit Network - a network set up by a volunteer who is passionate about the cause to promote more eco-friendly parties.

In response for ‘doing my bit’ I decided to set up Cheshire Party Box to help provide a viable but sustainable alternative for busy parents who are holding parties for their children. We have unicorn, Frozen and space themes available now and more themes will be coming soon, including superhero-inspired partyware.

Each party kit can be hired for 24 hours and free delivery and pick-up is available within 8 miles of CW4. You don’t even need to clean our kits up afterwards - that’s all included in the price!
