REVIEW TIME 😍
We are exactly the same as you girls! When new dresses come in we judge them on the hanger. How much we love it or think absolutely not for me! We do this all the time without actually trying them on sometimes.
Even as stylists who know how different silhouettes fit, how fabrics drape the body and how different designers look, we can get it wrong sometimes.
Gemma has been obsessed with the first dress for weeks and dying to try it on! Everything about is was literally Gemma’s dress! But as soon as she tried it on something didn’t feel right at all.
The lesson is, don’t get so hung up on the choosing part of your appointment in searching for the “perfect” dress that ticks all your boxes of what you want. Quite often when you put that dress on that you’ve been obsessing about, isn’t always the one.
Be open to trying different fabrics and styles. Choosing your dress isn’t just about how it looks. It’s about how it makes you feel 😍
