LLANTRISANT GUILDHALL WEDDING PLANNER VACANCY

The Guildhall at Llantrisant is a new licensed wedding venue set in 14th-century splendour. This fully transformed Grade II Listed building will enchant you from the minute you cross the threshold. The majestic Georgian Court Room is a perfect venue for that all-important moment when a coople both say “I Do”.

From small wedding ceremonies and drinks, ceremonies and afternoon teas for 40 or a service followed by a marquee for 150 on our Castle Green, we cater for all requirements.
Llantrisant Guildhall is actively recruiting for a Wedding Planner who must be energetic and have great attention to detail. We require you to assist clients in coordinating and executing successful weddings.

As a Wedding Planner your responsibilities will include actively promoting the Guildhall and its facilities to potential customers. You must have a clear understanding of the building and what we can offer for weddings. A confident approach to Facebook and Instagram is essential along with the ability to advertise and boost posts when necessary.

This is a commission- led role therefore the more wedding bookings you can take results in more regular income for yourself.

Other responsibilities will include getting quotes from venders, ensuring that budget changes are incorporated into the wedding plans and collect payments from clients for the services provided.

You will also be able to create a time-line of all wedding-day activities for each client to ensure that everything remains on schedule.

To be succeed as a Wedding Planner, you should be methodical and adept at handling difficult or stressful situations. Suitable Wedding Planners should keep abreast of the latest wedding trends as well as demonstrate exceptional communication, organisation, and customer service skills.

Wedding Planner Duties and Responsibilities

· Proven wedding or event planning experience.
· Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
· Sound knowledge of different religions and religious practises.
· Strong networking and negotiating skills.
· Sound knowledge of PR / Marketing for the building
· Ability to promote the building through social media platforms
· Promotion of the building at Wedding Fairs etc.
· Become the “face” of the wedding business for the Guildhall
· Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills.
· Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
· Detail-oriented, methodical, and creative.
· Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field is advantageous – but not essential
