If you thought that working in the bridal industry would be the most magical job in the world, you would be right! It goes so far beyond your wildest expectations and is so fulfilling, even on the toughest days.

Along my journey, I have had the pleasure of meeting so many people who have left a lasting impression, but none so much as this wonderful woman here. This is Marguerite Hannah, the designer behind Alan Hannah and Mia Mia Bridal and she is one of the most inspiring women I’ve had the privilege to meet.

Her skill and attention to detail go without saying, what I find infectious is her zest for life and all things creative! I love how a quick conversation can result in a completely new gown, how a question about fabric can lead you down a rabbit hole of possibilities and how patient and generous she is with her time.

Each and every visit to AH HQ has me feeling like a child in a sweet shop, which is why our rails are full of their luxurious gowns. They are definitely a firm favourite with us at Boo and our brides!

With the last week of August well underway, the boutique takes on a slightly different feel. Aside from the fact we are all very excited for Autumn, and all of the joyous weddings coming up, we cannot wait to meet all of our new brides.

September is famously one of the busiest in the bridal calendar, full of trade shows, designer events, runways and open days. If you’re planning to visit Boo soon, our calendar is filling quite quickly, it may be wise to head over to our booking page to check availability and avoid disappointment.
