🌼🌻My online Flower Club Members.🌻🌼

I've added some of the videos from over the year into an archived file. I'll create some worksheets to go with them. Looking back they make me realise how far I've come over the past 12 months. Looking forward to continuing on this journey. A big 'THANK-YOU' to all those members who've continued to support whilst I literally 'grow'.

January is such a busy month for the garden as it's a time repairs, building, sorting, organising, cleaning and planning. I guess it's like a Spring clean come early. This month I'm covering everything on how to analyse your garden and decide on how to increase your flowers and foliages for flower arranging. Whether working with pots, designing a cut flower garden or opting to have permanent planting we'll look at what works best for you.

Tool kits are a must and having the right tool for the job helps. I'll be sharing my favourite tools to use and why. Tools also make the perfect gift.

This month I'm offering two masterclasses as its a chance to cover bouquets but using winter flowers this time. I adore the use of all the winter flowers at this time of year as they are often quite tiny but pack a scent. These flowers are also perfect with a mix of interesting evergreens to create a wintery table arrangement. Here we can look at the process for building an arrangement, how to create balance informally and rhythm within the design.

It feels an exciting month.

New Years Day and I'm excited to be planning this years events. The plan:

WORKSHOPS for those who enjoy flower arranging or professional Floristry.

PICKED Flower Club for those who wish to learn about growing flowers and arranging them for their home (online).

POP UP SHOP because we miss providing flowers and so we maybe coming to a location near you!

PICKED FLOWER KITS & PARTIES our kits will be available to preorder soon with our first party booked in February making a dried flower design. We come to you with everything needed to arrange flowers. A range of options are available from £25pp.

WEDDINGS were dedicated to working with seasonal flowers and only taking on small weddings from May to September. Our designs are pastels, brights or whites with each flower carefully selected from local flower farmers or grown by us.

DEMONSTATIONS I'm always delighted to visit a club or business to provide an informative talk or demonstration around Horticulture, Garden Design and Floristry. In the past these have cover practical Floristry demonstrations, a presentation on the History of Gardens and how to design your garden.

At present we don't offer 'ad hoc' flowers unless pre-booked for an event and when we have flowers actually flowering. However, we do have some exciting projects in the pipeline so watch this space.

Oh we don't have a phone number either because honestly I'm never in to answer and I'm probably fighting with a bramble in the garden. However, I do reply to messages and emails on our working days and do provide a phone number for workshop days.

Working days Tuesday to Friday. Have a wonderful 2025 everyone and may the sun shine soon.

(Example: bright wedding flower bottles all grown in the correct season).

Did you know I love bugs and it was an essential element of my logo to have them represented. Bonus, if you know what they're on my logo!

I had to look this one up that I found on my work bench and then pop him into the bug house in the garden.

The last month of 2024 and a whole year of running the online flower club from the garden. WOW! We've made so much over the year and covered so much from understanding you're soils to designing a wedding bouquet.

This month we're focused on dressing the home which gives me great excitement. I've designed my Christmas decorations to be all natural this year giving me a chance to be creative with items from the garden.

You can join for £10.00/month (on subscription) staying as long as you wish and watch the content of videos building in the members area.

You'll learn: from a Floristry and Horticulture Lecturer who's been in the industry since leaving school working across several landbased colleges managing curriculum, teaching and working with the Heads of Horticulture from colleges and key gardens like Kew to lead on education across the industry. With a key passion for working with what nature has to offer you'll never pass up the opportunity again to collect that dried seed head or discarded branch.

You'll learn: how to add plants into your garden that provide foliages and flowers for your arrangements. How, to understand your garden and your own needs for your garden space. We look at design aspects, growing flowers and encouraging wildlife into your garden.

You'll learn: all about the growing, picking, conditioning and using your own flowers. You don't need an abundance of flowers to make a design. Let's be creative and not just pick everything or overfill a jam jar!

You'll learn: flower arranging and Floristry with me encouraging you to develop your own style and confidence in being creative. Yes, we follow the rules of 'design principles' as these exist in all great designs. Understanding these rules provides you with a framework, a way of knowing what you're working towards, support you in choosing the right number of elements. Design principles don't have to be in your face! In fact good design would use the principles enabling you to see the creation as a whole.

The flower club is perfect for those wishing to learn how to arrange flowers or for those stepping into Floristry looking to gain confidence in the subject knowledge

🎄DECEMBERS FLOWERCLUB 'PICKED🎄

Here's what's happening in the online flower club for December! How have we got through a whole year already?

🎄Swags for those who wish to gather a few stems from the garden for a simple.but classic touch of decoration.

🎄Garlands making a garland requires an enormous amount of foliage which quite understandably you may not have access too or wish to cut so much from the garden. We'll investigate mechanics that enable you to make a garland with a lighter touch.

🎄Lastly, as I plan my own decorations our 'Q&A ' will be around getting those tables decorated to enjoy time together.

Let's enjoy the build up to Christmas from our gardens bringing the outdoors in with a range of Floristry techniques to inspire your learning.

How it all began.....

“to me flowers are happiness”

(Steffano Gabbana)

Hello, I’m Tina the garden florist. This little business is literally my dream combining my Floristry, Horticultural knowledge and design skills to create … floral arrangements all year round.

My love for plants and flowers began as a child through the cultivation of a small garden plot. Regular visits to the garden centre with my pocket money ensured a little oasis crammed with as many plants as possible and a pure haven for wildlife. It’s this love for garden flowers that’s reflected in my work today. My natural environment provides me with immense inspiration and I’m often found foraging around or digging in the garden! It’s this love for garden flowers with their twisted stems, colourful blooms and subtle scents that I capture within my floral designs and utilise to inspire within my teaching.
