So often in life, and especially in business we just get to see the surface veneer that people want to present to us, but that is not the case for today’s advent post.
Today I want celebrate someone I have got to know pretty well and who I have huge liking, trust and respect for.
I’m a client of hers and have benefitted from coaching and various groups, both business related and more spiritual. And she is a client of mine, I’ve photographed her speaking and for brand shoots.
And she has become a firm friend. I have laughed with her and Asha ALOT (and she has the video evidence), she’s someone who checks in to make sure I’m ok, and our IG messaging is a steady stream of shared memes and reels.
But why do I want to champion her? Well the list is long, and frankly my menopausal brain is bound to forget some of the reasons, however they include…
How authentic she is - with Taz you see behind the veil, how she really is and what going on for her. If you are connected already you’ll know her current posts show how poorly she’s felt recently. She will share what’s going on with her, how she’s facing challenges and the wisdom she has gained from life.
How kind and supportive she is, yet how she is able to challenge me in a way that’s needed. Our true allies don’t just pay lip service, but also allow us to hear what we need to. Taz has helped me learn so much about myself, to achieve things I never expected, and to feel fully supported throughout.
She’s a true ally, champions others, cares for the values and the people that matter to her, has a wealth of wisdom to share and knows how to cut through the crap to get to the crux of the matter.
I’m very grateful to have her as a coach, a client, and especially a friend.
