Today, we played North Cave in the 1st round of the Under 30s Double Rink National. Showcasing our new shirts, they saw victory in winning 38–28 overall. The next round will be on Sunday 24th November against either Hartlepool or Eden. We wish them the very best of luck! 🫢🏼

Where do I start!! πŸŽ‰ A club is only as good as it’s members. A huge thank you to each and everyone of you for your support today. What a great afternoon , fun laughs, games, dancing and the room was full of a lot of love. A massive thank you to Dave Marshall for the music, the thursday and Friday evening dancers for entertaining us with their moves, without you the day would have been rather quiet. Thank you to Sandra for the bingo calling, card and raffle calling. Thank you to all the members who took the time to bake for us , the cakes and buns were beautiful, far too many to mention but you all know who you are. Thank you Sylvia, Bridget ,Betty and Sylvia for tea pot duty, selling raffle tickets, and the cards. I hope we’ve started off your weekend celebrations and you enjoy the next few days πŸŽ‰ #godsavethequeen

Bowls, functions and friendship

Hornsea & District Indoor Bowls Club is East Yorkshire’s premier bowls clubs and is a favorite venue for Hornsea social functions, parties and events.

With six rinks, the club is home to social and league bowling, and also has several members playing at County and International level. Bowls is a sport for all ages and all abilities with playing members aged 7 - 92. The club’s qualified coaching team offer four free lessons to anyone interested in trying the sport - just book with reception on 01964 537776. We are a fully accessible venue and have four bowls wheelchairs and other aids such as walking sticks and bowling arms to assist anyone with mobility or strength problems.

The club also has a 130 seat function room with dance floor and kitchens. The club serves carvery lunches on Wednesdays and Sundays (booking is advised) and offers food on other lunchtimes. Non-members can hire the room or book parties, wedding receptions and meals.

The function room also hosts the Seagull Art Gallery with exhibitions changing monthly. The gallery is free to visit and is open during normal club opening hours. The club also hosts sequence dancing, a bridge club and U3A bridge group, needlework and lace groups and monthly Probus and Ladies Luncheon Club meetings.
