It was a little bit of a rainy day today, (typical English weather)...but it didn't stop the celebrations! So pleased we could cater this birthday party. Had a fabulous day today...but a very busy one...so glad we could help people celebrate the fun times of life. A breakfast for a wedding party for 80 guests, bacon, sausage and egg sandwiches and drinks, a cold buffet for a different wedding group of 10, a 70th birthday garden party of pizza, burgers and fries and then a 30th birthday celebration providing burgers and fries. Even managed to get our trailer out for the first time today! I couldn't have done it all without my fabulous family helping and the team at the cafe holding down the fort. Thanks, everyone. Last push of the summer season!

It was a long day yesterday and a late night baking. But cakes are all ready for my customers today. This yummy one is a lemon sponge, layered with fresh cream and raspberries on the bottom, blueberries in the middle and a mix of both with a few strawberries on top for good measure. What a yummy combination to celebrate a special birthday. I hope you enjoy it!

Another buffet gone out today. This was the posh picnic, but they wanted only scones and strawberries and opted for extra savouries instead of a cake selection. I'm happy to oblige to any requests, so we did extra pork pies and sausage rolls and a few extra scones for good measure.

After a busy week...and hectic weekend...finally got these lovelies out. Naked wedding cake...Vanilla Sponge with homemade Buttercream, and Strawberry Jam and 200 mini desserts: GF Brownies, Jammie Dodger Blondies, Snickers Cheesecake and Lemon Meringue Pie. All homemade by me this week. Always love making mini desserts...they look so cute and taste so good!!!
